This lens is so sharp, it makes my 12mp A7sii look like 24mp. Amazingly smooth bokeh in photos and video. Even at f/1.4 it still has less vignetting than my Sony 50mm f/1.8 (added vignetting to sample photos in post). Ill be keeping and using this lens for a long time! Sample photos are all at f/1.4.

I had the 55MM Zeiss 1.8 and sold it to purchase this. IMO it provides a much better image than the Zeiss and works just as well. Im only buying Sigma lenses from now.

Picture shot at f1.4 for testing purposes. Focused on the rim. Camera: Sony A7R II Really really really love this lense. Purchased for traveling overseas. Lense itself is a little on the heavy side but then again, it wasnt originally designed for my sony, basically slapped an E mount on it and called it a day. But for the price, sharpness and BOKEH! This lense kicks ass.

I bought this lens at first because the Sony 24mm 1.4 was still backordered. I thought I was "settling", but after only a week of using this on my a7iii, I dont think Ill even bother with the much more expensive Sony. Im very impressed with the clarity and also how seemlessly it works with the a7iiis autofocus system. Dont hesitate if youre considering this -- its a very reasonable price for the quality.

I purchased this lens when I migrated to the a7III from the a99. I wanted a solid wide-angle prime for tight spaces and for performing photogrammetry. This lens is just solid and provides excellent images. Ive only taken a few hundred photos with it thus far, but I have been very impressed.

Love this lens! Love the build quality and love the 1.4 aperture and Sony emount native mount. This thing performs awesome in low light and indoor settings. Definitely on my Sony A7 III full time.
