Solid piece of glass! Pretty much stays on my 5d mark iv! A must have! Completed my set of sigma lenses.. Worth every penny spent!

This lens was such a let down. If you own a canon I recommend saving up and getting the better quality canon 24-70mm. If you look up reviews about the sigmas sharpness, most people had the same problem I did. 24mm-40mm were so soft it made me upset spending so much money on a lens and not getting professional pictures.

Heavier than my prime lens that I am used to but that was to be expected. I have used it about a dozen times so far and am happy with my purchase.

Nice compact lens...bought this especially for the Grand Canyon trip. Served me well. A bit on the heavy side??? But with all that glass, it is inevitable. I guess we got to keep doing this until cell phones can surely replace DSLRs.

I will say I have had this lens now for over a year and have loved it. It’s just as sharp at the Canon version II but also has image stabilization. It’s not evident in the viewfinder but it virtually eliminates any blurring from hand shake in the final images. Build quality is rock solid and well designed. The only downside is it’s heavy. But it’s something a I have gotten used to. For the price it’s an incredible lens, and I can’t find any good reason to go with the Canon over this one.
