This is a great lens for cinematography, and manual photos. I highly recommended it for getting solid focus pulls, and smooth bokeh. Ill update if I run into any issues, or have anything additional to add. USE ON: - BlackMagic Production Camera 4K - Canon T2i PROS 1. Solid construction. This feels much stronger, and heavier than Canons sub-$500 lenses. 2. Circular aperture results in great bokeh. Highlights and colors stay defined with a smooth blur. 3. Smooth and consistent focus pulls. 4. Lens Pedal locks securely. 5. Double-sided Aperture Readings 6. Nice details, like traction ridges for where you can hold onto the lens to lock/unlock it from the camera 7. Little breathing while focusing (on 5.6 between 1ft-6ft) CONS 1. A bit heavy...but thats to be expected for a 77mm Cine Lens. 2. Blurry wide open, but sharpens just after f/2

This is a well made and smooth operating lens. One thing to note about these lenses is that the infinity focus is at the L shaped symbol on the lens just before the lens stop. If you turn the focus ring all the way to the lens stop, it is focused past infinity which will be a little out of focus. I dont know why these lenses are designed this way, and wouldnt have know about this if I hadnt read some other reviews about Rokinon lenses.

This is a photo taken with the lens of my other lens. Build quality is very high. Optical quality is almost as good as my 35mm Canon L lens. Wide open some fringing occurs but nothing horrible. I absolutely adore this lens for cinema, I would highly recommend this to a beginner for still or cinema photography.

Im in love with these Rokinon lenses. This one is easily my favorite for the frame size and speed of this lens. Seriously have an addiction for these things. Got the 16mm 24mm 50mm and 85mm. Beautiful bokeh and background blur super worth the price.

Biggest waste of money ever. Used with several Sony cameras including a68 and a7 with converter and images and video are terrible. The only thing that is nice is the manual focus ring - just never focuses.

Love this company. My go to brand. Picture is so beautiful. Handles great in low light and fits my rig quite nicely.
