This was my go to lens all over Europe for video with the GH5. The image stabilization is incredible. I hand held shot the whole time.

Ive been using this lense for a few months now. Very nice quality and image stabilization is fantastic especially when paired with the GH5 which also has image stabilization. If you want a zoom lense, look else where. If you want an all around good lense for most projects, this is it.

Love the form factor of this and the fact that the lens doesn’t change its physical length when zooming. The one and only issue I have with this and every other Panasonic lens I have is the focus breathing. For photography this is not a problem but for video it is a huge concern when pulling focus.

Use with Gh5 and ilock and other lense stabilization for stuff that looks like shot on tripod but is handheld.

holy crap- wish wed bought this when we bought the gh5 originally. Using the stabliziation of the lens in tandem with the IBIS makes it like we dont needle a gimbal anymore. this lens is also wide enough so its each to face the camera at you an arms legnth away and vlog without a terrible fish eye effect.

Its sharp at f 2.8 and it gives a natural look to the image, Its slightly over priced. Its wire by focus be aware of that but overall its a great 24mm to 70 mm focal range.
