Just like the other M.Zuiko Pro 12-24mm lens, its a high quality pro lens. Along with the OM-d E-m1 this lens is incredible. Fast, durable, weather resistant, simply tack-sharp Worth the money and along with the MC-14 1.4 teleconverter made just for this lens the reach and quality are great.

This is undoubtedly the best lens I have ever used in 44 years of photography. Ive just returned from a week in outback Utah, ands this sweet baby did not let me down. Clear, sharp, free from chromatic aberrations, and in focus even at the corners. This lens will never be removed from my OM-D E-M5.

Optically this lens gets 5 stars, its great at all focal lengths. Im deducting a star for the hood. Its a great concept, a simple twist and it slides back, no fumbling with reversing. However the glue on the metal ring of the hood is very weak, basically two sided tape, and its prone to come apart at which point you have ball bearings and tension springs flying everywhere. Keep an eye on it and if it starts to separate remove and reglue with something stronger, but dont let the inner ring slide all the way out. Or consider a simpler hood solution as a backup. Kudos to Amazon for replacing so quickly when I had this issue a month after purchase.

Sharp, pro build, wide open performance is tac sharp, not small at all but not as big as the cumbersome DSLR long telephoto lenses. Just all around well done.

Like the built in lens cover, sharp images, small size, light weight. I use with extender with nominal reduction in image quality.

Kicking out some great images! I have been a Lumix mirror less guys for my entire photo career. Used almost exclusively Panasonic lenses, until now. I saw the report on the "Phoblographer" and waited for the product to hit the market. Bought it right away to mount it on my new GH 4 Lumix camera and have been WOWED EVER SINCE. This was so impressive I bought the 12-40mm Pro 2.8 as well. This is sweet glass. I use this lens for sports and general kid activities. Have only had it for a few weeks but found nothing to com plain about at all!!! I recommend this lens or anyone from the Olympus Pro line. Arrived on time and in great shape.
