Not the fastest aperture, not the most compact lens, but those are real life trade-offs that we all need to make for ourselves. The greatest amount of image stabilization anywhere when combined with in-body image stabilization (ISIS) of the EM-1 MkII.

A little heavy, but sharp and quick to focus. Its what Ive been looking for.

I gave a bad review for this lens and I am now changing it. I returned lens because I thought the focus was broken. I was stupid and did not read the lens manual. Now that I learned (by calling Olympus really great tech help) that it has a clutch that I needed to use to switch from manual focus to auto focus. The tech sounded like he had told many buyers of this lens about the clutch. I hope this helps others who are too lazy to read their manuals. Lens is really wonderful.

Incredible lens. Not as wide at 12 as my 12-40, but its a great all around lens. Very sharp and good size.

Expensive, but fast, sharp, rugged, smooth operating — what more can you ask for in a zoom. Matches well with Olympus OMD EM-1.

This is a great walk about lens and I would definitely recommend it for macro, landscapes, etc.

Wonderful lens for all around use. A bit big and heavy and Id love it to be 2.8, but one cant have everything in one lens.
