Popped it out of the box and directly to my D850 and D5 for AFMA tuning with FoCAL software.....the lens was perfect. Registered a 0 AFMA at 200mm and 70mm. No fine tuning needed!
Simply stunning. Never have I shot such crystal clear, tack sharp photos. Worth every penny (and it was *a lot* of them). Im currently using it on an older crop sensor (D5200) and its like I just got a new camera. The auto focus is extremely fast -- great for sports.
Auto focus is outstanding especially using back button focus on my D850. Im gonna try it on my D7200 next. Great lense

This lens is the bomb! I love it. I have the older version (70-200 f2.8 VR II), as well have worked the old one to no end. If I had none the beauty of this lens earlier, I would have purchased it the day it came out. The sharpness, and clarity and amazing. The shooting distance between the subject and the lens is much better as well. It reacts fast and is just plain amazing! If your a pro, dont even think twice, put it in your shopping cart!
