This is a great telephoto lens even though it is manual it is very easy to find focus. While Very good in sunlight it isn’t the greatest in lowlight being an F4. The lens is constructed well and feels good in hand. This lens also has a very smooth focus ring helping you to get those sharp images.

Great simple to use lens for price. Prefer the the auto lens but this lens can be focused quickly and takes great photos. Again a beginner lens but easy to use

So far so good, Im very pleased with the lens. I am a true beginner however having to operate in manual wasnt a deterrent. I think the fact this lens forced me into manual has made my pictures much better. I like being able to zoom in and out is great especially for sporting and family events

I ordered this lens as a Christmas present, and I was frankly disappointed with the image quality. The image is so dull that not even post-processing sharpening can improve it, and color fringing is not uncommon in this lens. The only upside is that it’s cheap, but saving a few bucks isn’t worth all of the other problems.

I received the wrong lens (6.3 vice 5.6) which is not as good, mariginally, but also different thread size so filters wont fit. The biggest problem is this is not the first time this has happened as I see from another buyer. One would think they wouldnt try and pass off one lens for another but I guess not.

I would avoid this refurbished lense. I used it for the first time yesterday and the zoom action is very stick. Its not a smooth action at all.

My 70-200 2.8 broke on me and needed this in a pinch and It worked good for the money. I no longer need this since I got my 70-200 fixed but it’s a good lens in case of an emergency.

Using on Nikon d7200. Older lens..good for beginners. No VR so expect blurred images at 300mm. Slow Autofocus and a bit noisy. Otherwise just good enough for amateur photography. On a better note produces good bokeh and sharp images in broad daylight. Poor images in low light.
