I was looking for a reasonably priced prime lens that would take great videos/photos. This lens fits the bill. Although it’s an Aps-c lens, it works great on my A7III. The bokeh is amazing, relatively sharp, and I love the manual settings. Overall a great lens.

I am just a beginner in photography, so take my comments in that vain. The manual aspect of the lens forced me to quickly learn camera basics that I couldnt figure out from shooting with a kit lens. Picture quality is great, but could be better. Overall, I would definitely recommend this lens if youre even a bit curious.

Great little lens, wouldnt buy it again though, Im returning it. all other glass has infinity on the left, this lens is backwards. AND the declicked aperture is just a wicked pain... not a fan of the de-click at all! I am the type to set it and forget it, not have to keep checking it.... all in all it is a really great lens, I am just being nit picky, and ill accept that.

Great lens for mirrorless cameras! I like the field of view. It is perfect for portraits taken at close range, but also for every day use. It is a good way to get into fully manual lenses. It is one that I will keep in my camera bag, as it is more useful than my zoom lenses.

Great lens for the price, not perfect but definitely a good value for the cost. I put this on an Olympus OMD EM 10 Mk III and if you dont mind manual focus it works fine, it will even work with the focus peaking function.

Got this for my Canon EOS M100 and Im pretty much blown away by the quality of the lens given the price point. Sharpest at f4-8 but useable throughout the whole available stops. Getting used to manual focusing takes some practice and videos tend to be a welcome challenge. All in all Im pretty satisfied!

I had used Meike’s 35mm f1.7 and this one is just as sharp. I like how the focus ring has a lot of range. Bokeh is obviously not as great as some of the more expensive lenses but really good value for the price.

You get what you pay for. Even with tripod on no wind day, inage is not as crisp as my other similar lens. Manual focus is very clumsy with this lens.

For the value, this is a really good lens. I originally bought it for the larger aperature to use at night, as I only owned the a6000 15-50 kit lens before. Once you get a handle on the focus, the lens is a lot of fun to use. I use solely on a tripod or other steady surface. The results have been much better than expected for the price.

Great lens. Did have a small problem with lens cap. It fit the lens, but would not fit any of the filters (such as uv) that I have.
