I love playing with this lens. I have a Sony a6000 and it seems to work really well with it. I am a relative novice but I picked up how to manually adjust the settings and play with the a6000 to get some really great photos. That being said, there can be quite a bit of distortion on the corners/edges and even with the wonderful tools the Sony a6000 has to focus, it can still be quite difficult to get a crisp and clear shot. But, again, this could be due to my novice experience. However, I almost always choose to shoot with this lens in a lot of settings. Recently, I was shooting some photography at an event with low lighting and it did spectacularly well.

So far it seems great haven’t had much time to use it. It is quite heavier than expected which isn’t a bad thing. Very sold lens. The apurature ring is clicked. The focus ring if very smooth. The lens hood has a button to remove it so don’t have to worry about it twisting off. Mine was actually black instead of the blue color you see in the photos. So far I’m happy with my purchase.

As advertised. Solid, mostly metal prime lens. Its totally manual focus and aperture, so you have to actually know how to use your camera. Good corner to corner sharpness, very low image distortion. Mild but manageable vignetting - seems most apparent on long exposure images when you increase the contrast in post-processing.

Was very skeptical about this lens because of the price. It turned out to be a great lens with very little distortion. I got it to replace a 16mm that I broke while shooting in the Middle East. I am very pleased with this lens.

Pros: - Very good built quality - Very low distortion - No Vignetting - Lightweight - Sharp Images on close subjects - Affordable Cons: - Manual Lens - Chromatic Aberrations are visible but can be corrected in post process - Difficult to focus on far subjects in infinity (somewhat lacks sharpness in infinity)
