freaking amazing lens. love my X-T2 and had purchased this has a second portrait lens (to my 56 1.2). I took it to Cuba for 3 weeks and ended up using it as my primary lens. I create images usually stepped all the way down and this lens at F2 was amazing. Not only a great portrait lens but worked really well for street shooting.

Wonderful lens. Sharp and great bokeh. It is heavy and large, though, so its not ideal to travel with if you are looking to carry light. There is a large moving part inside the lens that shifts around when its not being used. Its a little disconcerting because the other fuji lenses I have dont do this, but it seems like the shifting doesnt cause any damage.

Great portrait lense. Has a terrific depth seperation effect and a very nice bokeh, it has rapidly become a favorite on my xpro2. The lense is very well built, sharp even at f2 and through the whole range. Definitely a amazing option from fuji, equates to a 135mm for ff.

Extremely happy with this for my X-Pro1. I have a number of lenses already (18mm f2, Zeiss 32 1.8, Zeiss 12 2.8, Fuji 55-200) and was really missing my Canon 135 f2. After a LOT of reading I decided to get this as it gives me the equivalent field of view to the Canon 135 and also gives some great narrow depth of field. Pros: - Great on the X-Pro1. I was a little concerned, but with the digital eye viewfinder the focus is actually quite fast. AF is pretty good, but stuggles a little in low light, which is the fault of the camera in this case. Im sure later camera models perform better. - Excellent shallow depth of field at f2. Even 20 feet away I get some nice separation. - Out of focus background is very similar to the Canon 135 f2, which is a plus. Obviously not quite as narrow, but perfectly good enough for me. - Saturation is wonderful. - Ridiculously sharp. Wow. - Great build quality. - For the price it represents very good value for money. - I really love the field of view. Perhaps it is because I shot a ton with the 135 f2, but then again I fell for that lens quickly too. Cons: - I really never liked Fujis metal focus rings. My Canon rings have lasted 20 years, so why dont fuji offer rubber also. Much easier to turn and I think wears better. Lots of dust, sand etc gets stuck in the grooves. Not that comfortable especially in really cold weather. - Supposed to be weather resistant but no baffle on the lens mount like Canon offers. This is my first Fuji weather resistant lens. Theres a bit of slop when mounted to the camera so theres no way this will offer decent water ingress protection at the lens mount.

This lense is amazing. I love the range it gives me. The autofocus is super fast, especially in good light. I havnt had any issues in low light, but thats very subjective to the amount of light one would consider low. This lense is tack sharp and produces beautiful photos. Just for reference I use it with and XT2 and absolutely love the combo. Solidly built and feels like quality when you hold and use it.

This lens give pleasing bokeh and fast autofocusing speed. I received it month ago and start equip right away with my x-t3. Only today I took closer look at the lens and I found two small white dots inside the lens. I dont know whether this lens is defective or that is the design. It too bad that my return window is over a week ago. :(

An absolutely stunning lens...glued to my camera...it is nothing short of awesome ...beautiful bokeh, color rendering, sharp as a tack, quality build but you pay big $ for it...relatively speaking however, totally totally worth it!!
