My absolute favorite lens in the lineup! I currently own quite a bit of Fuji gear. As far as primes go, I own the 16mm f1.4 the 35 mm F2 and the 56 mm F1.2 And then there is this lens: the 23mm f2 The focal length is incredibly versatile, the auto focus is so fast and so silent that I was worried it wasn’t working! I considered getting the Fuji x100 F, but felt that putting this lens on my X-Pro2 would give me more versatility and still a small set up. Fantastic, affordable, well-made, another Fuji win! Im a beginner, so take all of this with a big ol grain of salt. First, this lens gets really sharp images when its stopped down a stop or two and when I actually nail focus (which is a lot rarer than I care to admit...). Ive also got the 35mm f2, and I tried out the 35mm f1.4. I have not tried the 23mm f1.4, which I know everyone loves. Judging by my experience with the 23mm f2, I could not justify the extra expense or weight of the bigger, faster lenses. I also really wanted the weather resistance as I live in Seattle and wanted to be able to shoot in some drizzles. Im loving taking photos with this lens, and its perfect for going to festivals and farmers markets etc. Id highly recommend this to any fuji shooters.

Fast and sharp. I have this on my x-t20 permanently now when I am out and about. The hood looks a little unnecessary but i guess it can protect the edge of the filter. If you were looking to find 1 lens to have on your camera most of the time, I highly recommend this 23mmF2. The build is solid- high quality and weight is not too heavy but feels right in your hands.

Nice lens. Does what you ask it to. Its just not quite as sharp at f/2 as the 35mm f/2 and doesnt have the same magical color rendition as this lens hence the 4 stars.

Great focal length of 23mm on a crop sensor (35mm equivalent of 35mm). Fast, well made and excellent optics. Great walk around and general purpose lens that is weather resistent and small. Good travel lens especially for photographing in urban areas.

The lens is fast and small! I take this lens with me on walks in the park or exploring downtown. It is fairly wide and the pictures come out sharp. I am happy with Fuji glass and will be looking to ad the 56mm to my inventory!

Very sharp, even at f2. Also surprisingly easy to get subject isolation at F2 despite this being a wide angle lens. Great for street photography.

This lens has a solid feel and the aperture ring has a wonderful smooth mechanical indents. Its also a tiny lens (compared to my full frame Canon lenses), and well-balanced on my Fuji XT-1. Great bokeh on an effective 35mm f/2.8 lens (FF). Perfect walk-around prime

I own this prime. along with the 35 f2 and 27 f2.8.. out of the 3 its my favorite focal length... just wide enough to look wide (35mm full frame) but still enough separation to make the subject stand out
