Im new to Fuji having just got the X-T2. So far in the limited time I have had with this lens Im actually quite pleased with it. The autofocus is dead fast. The zoom is smooth and a little tighter than Im used to. Colors from this lens are just awesome (could be the camera combination too). This is not a lightweight lens. This has heft to it. For other folks using this lens when youre walking about town do you keep the camera in some kind of backpack sling or just around the neck. Seems to be a bit heavy for a lot of around the neck but Ill try that one of these weekends.

Just got this lens after moving to Fuji from Nikon. I had a similar lens on my Nikon and the images that are coming out of this lens have surprised me for their clarity. Lens is large but not too big for the camera and the balance feels fine. My goal is to use this for travel with one prime to use in low light situations and some street only shooting. So far so good.

The Fuji non XF 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a welcome addition to the Fuji lens lineup. The focal length appealed to me as a good walk-around lens and therefore had to purchase it. It fits well on my X-T1. On the X-M1 this lens looks a little big , but is manageable. The XF 18-135mm is well constructed and after many trial shots this lens delivered excellent pictures. I created also a few not so good pictures but, this was due to my mistakes and were not the lenses fault. Wide open, the center of the images are sharp and the sides and corners are a little soft but, this improves right away when the aperture is stopped down a little. The pictures exhibit good contrast and saturation. The stabilization is great on this lens and the weather resistance of this lens is also a big bonus. Im well pleased with this lens and really can recommend it to everyone.

Excellent lens, well built and useful for many shooting situations. Its better in low light than you might expect from a f3.5-5.6 lens, due to the great OIS, but it does have trouble auto-focusing sometimes in low light. One minor quibble is that the lens hood on mine doesnt seem to fit very well and usually requires a couple of tried to put in place when I want to use the lens. But overall, I really like the lens and recommend it.

This is my first high power zoom lens for Fuji - and I am stunned by the quality of images produced with this lens; its sharp at all focal lengths wide open; used it in a air show - focusing is a little bit slow, not as fast as a DSLR, but still good enough. Set my camera to high speed shooting and got amazing pictures of an F22 flying by. It easily rivals and is probably better than my more expensive Nikon glass - which given the heft is lying unused.

This is as bad as it can be. It is not all-in-one lens but "all-bad-in-one" lens. Huge distortion, bad light, bleak colors.

Very nice lens with excellent focal length range, being the equivalent of a 27-203mm full frame lens. About twice as heavy as the 18-55mm kit zoom. Fairly large too. The 5 stop image stabilization system is excellent.

Absolutely great lens. I was considering a 50-140mm lens at first, but chose to stay with this. For create work I use a few primes instead, like 35mm, 50mm and 135mm.

Nice size, solid build and auto-focus is fast.

Ive enjoyed this lens, and it was very sharp I wont knock on the lens for this, but wanted to let future buyers know. Lens hood took me a few tries to learn how to install 100-135 isnt as smooth as the rest of the range Autofocus isnt the best in lower light situations Obviously not a good low light lens Lens cap is easily knocked off, I aleady had to buy a new one I wish the zoom threads felt like the focus thread, I dont like the rubber texture it collects dust The aperture ring isnt marked and I still turn it the wrong way sometimes I know it seems like i said a lot of negatives, but I really love this lens and the quality of pictures it takes. Its extremely versatile and Ive taken 1 second pictures handheld. Hopefully Ill try out one of fujis primes next, but this was my first fuji lens coming from Nikon Update: heres so,e things I found out over the last few months. I will never buy used again, I received a copy that definitely had issues. When zooming in really far and in tight fast, sometimes the lens wiggles and will disconnect electronically from the body causing video to stop. When manually controlling the aperture and ISO, I can see a visible flicker in the video. This is removed when shooting in auto.
