After several test shots I find my fotos to be clear and razor sharp using this converter in conjunction with my 50-140mm fuji lens. I have had converters in the past, both 1.4 and 2x. Their performance pails to the fuji 1.4 converter. So far, everything I have purchased branded Fuji in one form or another has been superior or equil to say "Canon"s brand. Fuji doesnt pay me one cent for my comments, their products for the XT1 line pay me in superior foto quality at prices I can afford and weights I can carry on my shoulder.

Excellent lightweight and weather resistant teleconverter! I find I leave this on my 100-400 more often than not.

Fuji lenses have top build quality, excellent images are made with this extender, Very little or no image quality loss. I am using this on the 100-400mm lens. I could not be happier!

Like all fuji camera products, this is no exception. Quality build. Works great (with the larger zoom lenses).

Very valuable addition for use with the XF 50-140mm lens. With software upgrade for camera and lens display lens details as an integrated 70-196mm lens. Images sharp.

Ive come across an unexpected problem... unexpected because Ive never seen or heard anyone else mention it. A little more than 2 years ago I purchased the XF50-140 f/2.8 / XF1.4X Teleconverter combo. Well yesterday I went to remove the lens/TC from my camera and I noticed the little lever that you push to release it from the camera mount was not there. (see attached photos). Sign me... disappointed.

I sent this back. I got better results cropping.

Make sure this fits by entering your model number. Multiplies focal length of mounted lenses by 1.4x. Weather-resistant design for weather- and dust-resistance and operation as low as 14 Degree. AF speed equivalent to XF lens by itself is still achieved with the tele converter. Camera displays and records information reflecting the change in aperture and focal length when the tele converter is mounted. Currently compatible with XF50-140mm, XF100-400mm & XF80mm
