This is the CHEAP kit lens...This is the WORST lens Canon has ever produced...I dont know why they decided it was a good idea to subject their customers to this awful lens...Mine has failed after a short time and is now a paper weight...It never did get sharp photos...Focus motor is loud and slow. If you try to manually turn the tell barrel it is not smooth.It is sticky and choppy...Dont be tempted by the low price...Its cheap for a reason...DO NOT BUY THIS LENS...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
