I bought this lens used last April in good condition. I currently also own the 60d body and the the 70-200 f2.8 is USM. I plan to buy the 6d body when its opportune to get out of the midrange body. When I bought this wide angle I was expecting to be blown away by the sharpness like I was with the telephoto. Honestly, Im not impressed with this wide angle. I found that it is heavy and bulky and not at all discreet. I opt to use the telephoto more often because of the quick shutter, stellar performance in low light and amazing sharpness. I never miss my shot when I use it. But this lens is not practical because I take candid street photos and I dont need to appear obnoxious while simultaneously ruining the integrity of the photo. In the next few months im going to be at school studying photojournalism. I will need a wide angle that I am happy with. Im looking at the 16-35 seeing as it is slightly smaller in dimension and lighter to carry. Or maybe if I buy the 6d and replace my midlevel body that will resolve my issues with the 24-70? Maybe if I shell out for the newer version of 24-70 that will resolve the issue? Overall outside of buying a fixed lens (which is not a viable option) im not sure what to do and am hoping I dont have to settle for what I have now. For the most part I am posting here in hopes of receiving some feedback or thoughts from others who might have had similar struggles.

I must admit, I like this lens. Its better than the 24-70 that is bundled with the Sony A7II despite not being able to use all of the autofocus features of the camera. There is some vignetting that is noticeable when the lens is set to 24mm, unforturnately. However, the images are crisp and clear. I love the color reproduction of this lens. There are numerous reviews online of lens so I dont need to be really in-depth but, know that I use this lens with both the Sigma MC11 and Metabones IV adapters and LOVE the combination.

Great glass and worth EVERY penny! Perfect zoom range and lets LOTS of light in. My go-to lens for 90%of what I do, and Im a professional photographer. Highly recommended!

Great lens -- used it for about a year, and then sold it to buy a prime lens. Honestly, I miss this lens, and wish I had kept it and saved up for a prime (and had both!!)

I love this lens, I am a photographer and I work with it all the time. Yet this particular lens that I ordered from this site seems to have a stabilizing issue, if I want clear pictures I have to make sure to hold it perfectly still. Although this lens is amazing, I don’t recommend ordering from this vendor.

While this doesnt have image stabilization, it does have a larger aperture, and as I shoot often in low light, I wanted the extra stop. Works beautifully, tho it was woefully under packaged for shipping (wrapped in a couple of layers of bubble wrap and in a box larger than needed). It is also going strong after I tripped and fell, landing on my camera: snapped my flash off at the hot shoe, but not a scratch on the lens!

Awesome lens! Works as if it was new. Normal wear and tear on the lens body. Zoom works smoothly and auto focus works fast and quietly . Great buy! Thanks A+

bought this lens for recording video in manual mode I just changed to auto focus and auto focus does not work on lens otherwise great lens
