Only had it a week, so the jury is still deliberating, lol ..I find it a well built unit, the lithium ion battery is great no more AAS , I got around 450 flash before a recharge...I find it works great in HHS and Ettl....Either as a slave or stand alone unit...It also works with the Flashpoint R2 radio system, after all Godox and Flashpoint are the same company...I find this a good value compared to the name brand...After all their both Chinese build..

I really loved this flash until battery died. Its my travel flash & only has been fired about 50 times.... If there was substantial use on the battery I could understand & except the failure. Part of the reason I purchased the flash was I believed the bad battery issue from the factory had been resolved. IES stamp did not help in my case. 5 stars to 2 because battery should hold up far better than just 50ish shots. Absolutely loved godox but now worried my other flashes batteries especially on the 200s will prematurely die likewise. Paying $50 for just 50 shots is crazy expensive.

There is a compatibility issue with the 5D Mark IV, the AF assist does not work. Needless to say I will be returning the flash. I really wanted this flash to work as described as I have heard great things about Godox flashes.

Very happy with this flash. I havent tested every mode so far, but everything I have tried works and works well. I use this on a Canon 5D Mk IV. Even more impressive is that I have been able to use this flash wirelessly with my Sony A6300 by using the X1T-s Wireless Flash Trigger on the Sony. The flash recognizes the signal, knows that its from a Sony and fires accordingly, resulting in a perfectly exposed photo on the Sony!

Bought two units to help with a Bridal Shower shoot. Worked very well. Nice flash units for very reasonable cost. I don’t have long term use feedback to share, but have been pleased with the 860IiC’s heretofore. . . .

Essentially makes speed lights that use AA batteries obsolete, with its Li-ion battery pack.
