I have been dreaming of having my own DSLR for years now, and havent been able to purchase one until now. I have been using my moms hand-me-down Canon EOS Rebel for years, and its old enough that cameras werent digital at the time it was bought. Well, that was until the battery terminal decided a few years ago that it wanted to corrode and render itself useless. So I was finally able to take the plunge and order my very own DSLR, and I could not be more happy with this bundle. Everything came perfectly and neatly packaged, nothing was missing, nothing was damaged. Everything was perfectly pristine and beautiful. While I am SO far from being a professional, behind the camera is my happy place and Im so glad that I now have something that will get me farther than any cell phone could have. I have fiddled around with it since I received it last week, but I havent had a chance to really get into anything worth posting or sharing. But even so, this has far exceeded my expectations even with just the silly little practice photos of my dog and some candles. The only downside to this purchase is that my son karate chopped a cup of water right across the living room onto my Macbook, which, much like the Canon is now completely useless. I was looking forward to using the photo editing bundle that came with the camera, but now I have to invest in a new laptop, much like I did the camera.

I’ve never used a camera besides the one on my phone so I was intimidated to buy a more complex camera. I love this one it’s very easy to set up and use! These are two f the first pics I took on the camera

Complete kit as advertised. Easy to use system. Pictures are good quality. RAW and JPEG formats available. Corel software for editing is very helpful. Basic newbie kit for hobbyists and beginner professionals. Great quality items. Bluetooth enabled to download directly to your phone. Smart tagging available for picture parameters. No problems with anything. Very satisfied with the order. Shipping was 5 days, instead of 2 as advertised. Which mattered very little to me, but still notable.

Bought this in response to to the shortcomings of my cell phone. It has met my expectations with great pictures of people and places. The auto settings allow you to get up to speed instantly. As time goes by I am learning the many settings to make my photos pop. Download and study the manual to enjoy all this camera has to offer. Only criticism is lack of a 2nd battery in the package.

I think this camera is awesome, and this is a great starter pack. I have never owned a camera before, and I really wanted something that could take high quality photos without breaking the bank. I am very happy with the quality of photos this camera takes. The attached photos were taken the day after my camera arrived in the mail, using the 70-300mm lens. At first I didnt think I would need the 70-300mm lens, but Im super glad that I purchased the bundle that came with both lenses. The 70-300mm lens is super helpful for shooting nature, where you can never really get that close. I have been blown away by the quality of the photos. The quality is so high that you can crop the photos afterward and the image is still perfectly clear. Im really excited to continue experimenting with the camera, and so far Ive had a blast. If youre looking for a camera that is reasonably priced and capable of taking high quality photos, I really think this is perfect. And the bundle with the 70-300mm lens is totally worth it. Seriously, I think some of my friends dont even believe that I actually took these photos because they look too good.

Love everything about this Camera! Easy to set up and use. Pictures are great. Price is great. Couldnt ask for anything more. So glad I made the purchase.

Im still in the learning process and not familiar with all the functions this camera has to offer but so far I am very pleased with the picture quality and the easiness of using this camera. It arrived on time as promised. I do recommend this product for anyone looking for a good camera.

I wish I could give a ZERO score to this camera. The BLUETOOTH DOWNLOAD feature w/Snapbridge to an IPHONE is unreliable and so slow it is unusable. Amazon support support is supposed to call me back tomorrow but I am 90% sure this is going back to the seller at this point. I am so surprised nikon would sell junk like this.

Beware. Didnt get the software that was displayed. That was the reason I purchased this over another package deal. Software download only came with 1 of the 4 products displayed. Very disappointing. Customer service unable to do anything but have me return everything.

This is my second Nikon camera and I am thrilled with it! Highly recommend. My one complaint is with the Corel software that comes with the deal. Unless I’m completely missing something, Aftershot Pro 3 is not compatible with RAW images from the D3500 (at least not on a MacBook). That was a real bummer because the software was a major reason I chose this package. I was really looking forward to trying new editing techniques.
