Dont hesitate!!!
Lovely lens for a beginner like myself. I do photography when I have the time. I love it so much and these lens makes it even better. They create a clean crisp image. Below I have attached some photos I took for fun this week!!

Delivery was subpar
We received a completely broken lens. It came apart in two pieces. We have returned it and awaiting a replacement. I wish I could have returned it by going into target, but that was not a choice. However, I did order a 50mm lens bc it is very good! I strive for amazing bokeh! But the experience has been bad thus far.

Great lens for beginners
First lens as I am a beginner and I love it. Takes excellent photos and easy to use. I’m using it on a canon 5D mark iii and quality of photos are great.

Affordable, fast, fun!
Everybody knows about the nifty fifty! It's a wonderfully small prime lens that has a fast aperture for a cheap price. The STM variant does seems quite a bit better from the previous version. I have used this lens on my Canon T3, T5i, and now my R8. It works perfectly for portraits or if you need more light in darker situations. It is softer at f/1.8, but sharpens up around f/2.8, which is still perfectly usable. It's a little tight on crop though, but I felt it was was easier to use on full frame for more everyday situations. I'm mostly planning on switching to the RF 35mm, but the 50mm is still an invaluable tool to have in most photographer's and even videographer's bag.

Great Lens
