So Amazing!
This is seriously such an amazing VR headset. The graphics are great and so is the sound quality. We were able to download a few free games while others do cost money. There’s an app that you download and QR code you can scan that makes setting everything up really easy. Overall I was really impressed with this product and would recommend it.
Target sold me an opened Meta Quest 3s — horrible experience
I bought a Meta Quest 3s (128GB) from Target using Drive Up. When they brought it to my car, I immediately saw the box was damaged and the seal was broken. (I’ll attach photos.) It was clearly opened before. I went straight to the counter to exchange it — but instead of helping me, they just refunded it at the discount price, no questions asked. The worst part? They didn’t have any more 128GB units in stock — only the more expensive 256GB version. I asked if they could ship me one or help me find another store. They said no, and told me to call around myself. Seriously? That’s your customer service? Even worse — when I asked why they gave me an opened product, they had the nerve to blame me. Said I might have opened it myself. I hadn’t even left the parking lot! They didn’t care at all. Totally unprofessional and honestly feels like a scam. Selling opened items as new? That’s fraud. In the end, the manager gave me a gift card for the discount I lost, but that doesn’t fix how badly this was handled. I’m furious. This whole thing was a joke. I don’t recommend buying electronics from Target. Check everything — they clearly don’t.

Great, fun, use as desktop replacement
Highly recommended. Great for Netflix, surfing the web for research while listening to Amazon music. Connected to my Windows laptop to transfer movies, including 3D movies. 3D movies are great. I paid $9.99 for Skybox VR app through Meta Quest store for immersive movie viewing. YouTube app is very nice, and can narrow search down to 3D and 4k videos (4k look better even though Quest 3s is only Full HD.) I got the X Box Game Pass and figured out how to set up the controller (look at one of the recent Game Pass reviews in the Quest store for help on controller set up!) I ordered the Anker Soundcore VR P10 earbuds new, in open box, for $48 from eBay and they are amazing! No audio lag with the little USB C dongle, easy setup, great sound! Also ordered an elite halo strap from AliExpress to replace the OEM strap and it makes a world of difference. There are plenty of good games in the Quest store, just do a Google search for top rated games that are good for people who get motion sickness... The games Moss and Moss II are adorable, immersive, entertaining and often on sale. They are highly rated too! Walkabout Mom Golf is great as well. Just get on Reddit to get more info on games and features! I used my target circle card to get an additional 5% off so I saved $15. There is an issue with the serial number on the box not matching the headset so be aware of that if you want to return it. Though you can return it through Meta a well, no problem. The reviews mentioning incompatibility with their "original" controllers means they most likely are trying to use with quest pro controllers which don't work with the new 3s or 3 headset. Overall very very pleased. Just do your research into what games and other options exist. There's a niche for everyone. I've even used three 3s to watch movies in a beach chair at the beach near where i live, with the passthrough function. Looks like a giant screen floating over the ocean, with the cool breeze coming on. It's awesome!

Mark Zuckerberg, I blame you personally for running such an awful company. We purchased a Meta VR for Christmas. Due to some sort of software update, the headset would not turn on. This was apparently a known issue at the company. And yet, after hours (and I mean hours) with customer support, they asked us to send back our headset and agreed to send a new one. Turns out the new one is not compatible with our original controllers. It is now Jan 23, one full month after purchase, and many more hours, phone calls, and emails have been spent on this issue. We keep getting emails from different people sending us the same generic instructions about how to pair controllers with a headset. I am literally at a loss for what to do. I cannot stress this enough: this company is awful, DO NOT BUY.

So we had an older version of this VR, and my son said they have made a lot of great improvements. Graphic, the way it plays, he’s very happy with the updated version. Pretty easy to bring your previous saved games over too.
Good entry level headset
This has been a really interesting first step into VR for us. It takes some getting used to since it’s pretty heavy on the face and head. The battery drains fairly quickly. The fully immersive games and apps are amazing but you have to wade through a lot of junk ware to get to them. The multiplayer VR spaces are hit and miss but be warned they’re fully open mic at all times so anyone could’ve exposed to anything at any time and it’s not really clear how to mute them or yourself. Basically it takes a lot of legwork and research but there’s great stuff in here if you’re willing to put in the time.

This was a gift to me for Christmas and it totally hit the spa! As a millennial I. Definitely can appreciate a good game set, Absolutely liked how they included Batman as well as two wrist straps! Headset is adjustable to your liking! Virtual reality here we come!

Really like the redesign of the marquest. Seems to have improved the boundary options and drift in the hand controls. Love the game options and they keep expanding. The included Batman game is also very fun.

The interface is nice. It’s intuitive, very easy to login, lots of content. I would definitely look for alternative accessories to make it more comfortable, like the strap. Some light leak around the nose. The resolution isn’t the greatest. Hand tracking is good, really like the color pass-through. Kind of a small field of view. Good audio quality, I could hear everything clearly. For the money, This is a great device. So much fun. hours of playtime. Easy for the kids to use.

Such unexpected fun. Thought about giving to kids but husband and I are having so much fun we may wait ha ha!!! Easy to set up and create user profiles. I am still kind of new so still looking into best options to be able to take advantage of more games and activities but crazy how video gaming and VR have arrived to this point!!!
