I don’t like how it dies really fast, when I have it fully charged it dies and under an hour,
The giftcard deal is NOT a scam!!
Picked up my order yesterday. It’s on sale for $249.99 + you get the $50 giftcard. Many reviews are claiming this deal is a scam and they are being charged for the giftcard. This is somewhat true. However, another discount is applied to the metaquest. It takes another $50 off the $249.99 sale price and the you see a separate charge for $50. If they just handed out the free giftcards, anyone could make a purchase for the giftcard and return the item. They do it this way to prevent anyone from “cheating the system.” It’s not rocket science. The receipt also reflects everything I’ve mentioned above. It’s a great deal and I highly recommend getting it now with the current promotion. As far as the item itself, it’s a gift so I hope they love it!

I just wanted to clarify for anyone on the fence because of the reviews stating the gift card is a scam - if you read the gift card terms, it clearly states you will be charged separately for the gift card. This separate charge is how target can activate the gift card. However, you are not charged this separately in addition to the total - you are charged the total ($263.49) less the $50.00 gift card - so $213.49. You are then charged separately for the gift card promo of $50.00. Both of these charges ($213.49 + $50.00) = $263.49, which is the stated promotional price. So yes, you are getting $50.00 off (promo price of $263.49) AND you are getting a $50.00 gift card. Nothing scammy about it. The gift card is sent to your digital wallet. For those saying they didn’t receive it, check your email - or if you have the target app, click the “wallet” icon. Voila.
