My current opinion.
Got this control when the next gens dropped and so far I’m really liking it. Loving the new textured handles and even the textured L&R triggers. I went with the shock blue which looks amazing. My reason for the 4 stars is the same as another review. I wish they would have gone with an internal battery that you can just plug and charge and also I dislike that now the control uses a usb C cable to plug and play. That’s not a common cable so actually went out and bought a 3’ to use. Other than that the control feels great, looks amazing and does what it needs to so far. Will review again around February after I’ve button masher my way through months of multiplayer TDM matches on MW and Cold War. Let’s see how it holds up.

DONT BUY- USED
I wish I could give this 0 stars. I ordered a brand new series x controller and what I received was an old, dirty controller that’s missing parts. Do not buy!!!!!! Clearly can’t trust target anymore.

Love the look, plays great — but some wear and tear issues
I really like this controller overall — the lime green color is super bold and looks awesome in person. It’s comfortable to hold, connects easily, and gameplay feels smooth. Buttons are super responsive when new, and it’s a solid choice if you want something fun and different from the usual black or white. That said, the bright color shows dirt and grime pretty fast, especially around the buttons and joystick. I clean mine often but it still builds up. Also, after a couple months of regular use, I started noticing a bit of stick drift, which is disappointing at this price point. If you take good care of it and don’t mind wiping it down often, it’s a great controller — just be aware that it might not stay flawless with heavy use.
