Very colorful
I got this for my husband since he wanted something wired cause he was getting some lag while playing on his pc, and he loved it. He liked the color lights cause they looked great with his setup.
Solid choice at a low price.
Looks awesome with the RGB lighting and has great customization features like mappable buttons and trigger sensitivity. However, the wired setup feels limiting, and the controller is a bit bulky for long sessions. Still solid for casual gaming. Thanks to Influenster for sending this free for my honest review

Wow!! This is the prettiest controller I’ve ever seen!! All my gamer friends are jealous. Comfortable for long hours of gaming!! I would have rated this 5/5 if it was wireless! Other than that, it’s a great controller ????

Cool Design, But Not the Best Fit in Hand
I recently tried the Turtle Beach XB Afterglow Wave Wired Controller, and it’s okay overall. The sound passthrough and audio features are solid, and the RGB lighting on the controller looks awesome - it definitely stands out visually. I also liked the overall button responsiveness and the customization features through the Control Hub app. But for me, the controller didn’t sit quite right in my hands. After a while, it started to feel a bit awkward, even after trying to adjust my grip. The textured grip helps, but the shape just didn’t work for me long-term. It’s not a bad controller at all - great performance - but the fit was a personal miss. I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.

Cool Lights, But Tethered by a Wire
I was genuinely excited to get my hands on the Turtle Beach Afterglow Wave Xbox controller. The RGB lighting is undeniably eye-catching, and the customizable options via the PDP Control Hub app add a nice touch. The inclusion of programmable back buttons is a feature I didn't expect at this price point, and they work well for quick in-game actions. However, the wired nature of this controller feels outdated in today's wireless world. The 10-foot USB-C cable is generous, but it still limits mobility and adds clutter. Additionally, the build quality leaves something to be desired; the buttons and triggers feel stiff, and the D-pad lacks the tactile feedback found in official Xbox controllers. While the Afterglow Wave offers some appealing features for its price, the lack of wireless capability and subpar build quality are significant drawbacks. It's a decent budget option if you're okay with wires and can overlook the stiffness, but it doesn't quite meet the standards set by other controllers in the same price range.
Great controller
I love the long cord it this comes with. It fits great in my hand is easy to hold . My teenage has been using this and it has held up to her clumsiness. We do not have any drift issues that we do with our switch controllers which is awesome. It looks great and plays better. Would definitely recommend.
Lightweight
The cable of this wired controller is long enough to be able to sit back and enjoy. The size of it is about the same as the official ones. However, this controller is very light weight, which in my opinion, is a con. The sticks are a bit taller than the official ones and they are hard compared to the soft cap the official ones have and I prefer that. The customisable back button could be convenient, but I personally don't use them, so I constantly click on them accidentally. Other than that, I can't comment on the back buttons.
Game girl game
This controller is so cool. I love the design the colors and the feel. It looks so techy when it lights up gives a cool vibe. Only thing that bothers me is the wire I wish it was chargeable. The only other issue was sometimes the buttons get stuck. Overall its fun to use

Great controller between standard and Xbox pro
I got the item for free from influenster for an honest review. First, let me say that for my Xbox series X, I own and use the Xbox pro controller and the standard controller it comes with and will be comparing this to those two. Now although those are wireless controllers and this is not, I am not going to knock anything off or use that as a comparison as this is marketed clearly as a wired controller. Now then, I out this controller somewhere between the Xbox standard controller and the the pro. It has some features of the pro but not all but this does have some features of it's own. The durability and feel seems to be on par with the standard controller. It is slightly lighter but not to the point it feels cheap. There are two switches on the back side that adjust the triggers. You can have it set to where you have to press it all the way in, or closer to what the bumpers feel like where you barely have to tap it. There are also two buttons on the back that can be programmed to be any of the 4 standard buttons(ABXY). The only feature I would to see is have those be programmable to screenshot and/or record. Using it as the a/b buttons could be useful in certain racing games or games where you have to press and hold for considerable amount of time but for standard shooters, don't see much use. You can also just disable them I believe. Now the software, I would like to ding it but I think it will be upgraded. The instructions manual says to download turtle beach control center but it's not supported. I went on a hunch and downloaded the afterglow software and it was recognized and updated the firmware. The software is easy to use and you can change the colors on the controller very easily. You can have it pulse different colors or be solid. I find the pulsing to be distracting but to each their own. Unlike the Xbox pro controller, the parts are not replaceable without taking the whole thing apart so it's more similar to the standard controller in that regard. Overall, I am happy with this controller. I think I am going to use it as my main controller for my laptop since it has to be plugged in and I would not be far from my laptop if I use it. I also noticed I got this device before it was launched as on the website it is still on pre-order so the software may be updated before then. Today is May 5th and I have had this device for over a week.
