Great purchase! I got it for a Christmas gift and it’s lovely to play on, But the game it came with animal crossing had to be downloaded which is fine but it takes up a lot of space so other games you want to download will need a memory card overall great gift!
Difficult to set up and operate
The Nintendo system has been very difficult to set up. I had to call customer service 4 times. This device comes with Animal Crossing and we have not been able to get it to work on the switch lite it came with. I will probably be returning the switch.
For the people that think the code is in the box...
Yeah, to all of the people writing bad reviews- the game does not come in a code in the box. That would make it very easy for people to steal, and Nintendo did it right with this by making it literally digital only. By that, I mean you NEED to sign up for. Nintendo account if you don’t already have one, go into the EShop and it will be there to download. It also states this on the box, but people can’t read?? Anyways, my boyfriend and I had bought this for his mother as a gift last Christmas since Animal Crossing became once of her favorite games to play. We had gotten a 3DS years ago along with New Leaf and she loved it so much. My boyfriend and I loved New Horizons, but didn’t want to spend so much on an actual switch for his mother, so when we saw they came out with a AC Switch Lite(which is more compact and perfect for her), we immediately jumped on it. We set it up for her beforehand and was a huge hit, still to today. It was such a wholesome gift and the happiness she expressed was well worth it! ☺️ I will admit that when we opened it to set everything up, I was VERY impressed with the design and quality of this switch lite. Almost made me want to pick one up for myself as well!
Wrong switch in box
Someone clearly purchased this switch to swap out with a regular pink switch and took the game download as well. It doesn’t have the animal crossing pattern on the back, and the screen was covered in fingerprints. The charging cord was just in the bottom of the box all tangled up. Will be returning, but frustrating as we discovered this as my daughter opened it for her birthday present and it is only available for shipping so exchanging it same-day isn’t an option.
Look at box
The Switch came to me very quickly and am super excited for it! I thought the game code was going to be on a piece of paper but no, the instruction on how to downland the game is on the box where you open the Switch! Can't wait to play it! Also, the color is so cute!

Absolutely love this! The colour and design is so cute! Especially if you’re an animal crossing lover! Such a great deal with the animal crossing game included in the price of the console.

Register device with Nintendo account
Super lightweight. Wish they had some different colors for the animal crossing bundle but fine with it. Works just fine. Didn’t realize what small storage space it had. Have to wait two weeks just to get a memory card in the mail. Store didn’t have them from what I saw. Easy to set up if done before if not continue with the probed set up settings and when it asked to register device, do so by logging into your Nintendo account if not, set one up and then continue with registration. It will pop up after to get animal crossing for free. Like in the picture.

Excellent!!
I love it!! It looks beautiful, the animal crossing leaves on the back, and adorable leaf in the front!! It’s an excellent deal considering you get the animal crossing game with this switch!! (Been playing for many years and I was still super excited to play again!!) I recommend this for any animal crossing fan!!
