Good steps to Switch follow up, but no leaps ahead. Aside from the Target preorder delays (took one additional day to get the system, but one extra week for the accessories to come in!).
Nice screen size, lightweight, some costly considerations (extra dock is expensive, and the game card codes aren't long term sustainable for game collectors).
Stolen package shipped via discount carrier
Shipped on launch day via Ontrac whose processors/drivers are known to steal packages. If your package has the lithium ion battery warning label, it's open season on your item. They know it's an expensive electronic which you'll never see. Delivery was held at processing facility for over a week. Contacted Target and Ontrac to open a ticket but Ontrac support is no help they pass off responsibility to the seller? Come June 19th all of a sudden it's 'delivered' at 11:30pm? Even if that was the case, packsges don't last 30 seconds on a NYC porch. Never will I ever preorder or buy anything from Target. Minute I knew it was being shipped by this carrier nothing good will come out of it all because Target chose to save a few bucks on shipping.
Happy I Upgraded!
I absolutely love the Switch 2 and so happy I upgraded. My games load faster, I can talk with my friends on voice chat while we play together instead of using discord. We can even see each other on the camera while we game and it runs smoothly. Also, the screen is a lot bigger which is super nice. Happy with my purchase. The Direct is happening soon and I cannot wait to see what is in store for the Switch 2.

There are multiple reviews about nintendo switch 2's being stolen by Ontrac including mine. Never ordering from target again unless they stop using ontrac as a shipper. It supiciously says delivered in Maspeth at 11:30pm where their facility is located but not to my address.

The insanity of charging $80 or the “generous” $50 for a game that is going to be milked for years with DLCs and who knows what. The system is fine but they haven’t fixed the drift issue. I hardly used the console but it’s already showing sign of problems to come, mainly with the left controller. And guess what, they’ve increased the cost of controllers too, lol. If not for the exclusives like Mario, Zelda, this system would have failed but they know that people will buy it.

New and improved!
The system itself is much larger than the original. Screens brighter and the battery lasts alot longer( gets me through about 2 days of work). The built-in storage is sufficient for most folks. All in all, it's definitely an upgrade that's going to last for another 8 years.
Poor service at Target- they didn’t let me make my purchase
I see 6 units available in stock the last week in my local target in SLC at 10:40 pm the thing is I come the next day at 8 am when the store opened and it was ALL EMPTY!!! They say nothing was available and later the same day the app shows limited available so I go again to the store and they say the same thing… really target?!! The reason I wasn’t able to complete the purchase at the time that night was because the employee refused to split the payment between my Target RED CREDIT CARD and my debit card. This was very frustrating, especially since I’ve been able to use two different payment methods even when shopping online!
Switch 2
I ordered launch day no pre order and got the switch bundle. It came via local delivery the next day. I'm sure I was lucky but I'll take it.

I’m in love with the new switch, it’s the perfect size & the graphics are AMAZING!!! It’s a lot smoother than the first switch which is what I’m upgrading from.

I've been on the hunt online, contemplating buying a price gouged $600+ console off Facebook marketplace and then I suddendly saw that a Target nearby had "limited stock" so I called them up and asked if what I was seeing online was true... She responded with actually yes we have one left, I asked if they could put it on hold for me and she said sure no problem as long as I get there the day of. 40 minutes later I was able to swiftly secure my Switch 2!! I've been checking everyday and got so lucky! My thanks go out to the kind girl that put it on hold for me at the Meriden Target and for the online stock being live updated!
Horrible target launch
I pre ordered this months ago. Didn’t even get it on launch day while everyone else did. It was supposed to arrive 2 days ago according to tracking. I stayed awake late waiting for a package stating its gonna be here and it’s not
