Love This Thing!!!
This is definitely an upgrade from the original switch. The screen is a great size and even though it’s not Oled, it still looks amazing. Loading screens are much faster and all my games play smooth without any lag. The joy cons are very comfortable to hold and I love that they are magnetic instead. The kickstand is very sturdy and can be adjusted to any position. Overall I am very happy that I decided to upgrade!!!
Horrible shipping department
I opened the shipping box to find a completely mutilated Switch package, with the console itself literally floating around in the shipping box outside the product packaging. Someone at Target decided it was OK to send this to a customer. Called customer support and was told the policy is that I have to return this physically to a store. Great. There goes my time. I was offered a $10 gift card for my trouble. Really?
Such a Perfect Upgrade
I got this for Christmas after eyeing it for a while. I was on the fence because of the price and the fact that I have perfectly fine OLED, but after holding a friend’s, I got that itch! I wasn’t going to get one until much later, but then got it for Christmas and it is AMAZING. Truly, it feels amazing when you hold it, the screen is so clear and so large, that you feel fully immersed. I’ve been playing Hogwarts Legacy, Animal Crossing, Dreamlight Valley, and Zelda on it and it is truly like night and day. If you have the money for it and you’ve been on the fence, I highly highly recommend taking the leap (especially since the price of RAM will be going up and consoles aren’t getting any cheaper). I don’t usually write reviews, it’s just that this is the best gift I’ve received in a long time and it has already brought me countless hours of cozy fun and joy, and I just had to share, haha ❤️ I included a picture of a side by side, between the OLED and the Switch 2. Yes, the OLED is going to have a deeper black, and very rich color, while the Switch 2 is slightly more muted (though for this game, Animal Crossing, the switch 2 edition comes out next week, this is the switch 1 version on both the OLED and the new S2). I’m sure they will one day create an OLED Switch 2, but this will be many years from now. All of the games that are being optimized for switch 2 look even better than the OLED in my opinion! Until then, the speed and clarity of the device, along with the incredible screen size, really make it a fantastic experience. If you get it, I hope you enjoy! Happy gaming ????

6 months after launch and no working YouTube app for the Nintendo Switch 2. Low priority but Switch OLED has a working YouTube app. Parents bought this product expecting this to be on it and work or be available shortly after launch. Wake up Nintendo and get a working YouTube app on the Switch 2.

Best Upgrade Ever
The console feels super sleek, major upgrade from the Switch 1 i've had since launch 2017. The volume is fantastic and the screen is crisp and clean. The joycons are comfortable and the magnets are a nice touch. I love the little quirks like sounds in the menu. Automatically displays 120hz at the highest display settings.
My Nintendo Switch 2 review
Love the improvements that this console has over its predecessor. Definitely needed an upgrade. The games are great too because it can not only play Switch one + 2 games, it plays them at a better resolution

Its actuslly really good
I absolutely love my switch 2.. I spoiled myself and I one for my birthday ???? I rushed all the way to Compton, well...rancho Dominguez to get my switch! It's been just over a month or so since I've owned it and it's great! Now, 2 extreme cons... GAME KEY CARDS.... Nintendo is vile for that... also they didn't change the technology to have joycons without stick drift... the screen, don't worry about it.. I have the switch 1, the oled and now the s2 and the lcd looks extremely good. Besides those two cons the switch is fantastic... I just refuse to buy a key card... I would rather have the switch 1 version of the game and know that the game is mine forever. Also the joy cons are super expensive

I love it!!! One morning I called a target and they said they have 3 left I rushed there and got the console with Mario kart world and I tried it and it was amazing the 7.9 inch display is awesome and those joycons got a massive upgrade and Mario kart world is so fun. Would 100% recommend
