The picture is bad and the sound quality is even worse. I tried to return it but the company wont pay return shipping and the cost of shipping was almost half of the cost of the TV. I dont write negative reviews normally but I had to let everyone know.
Other reviews on this....told me everything good and bad about this model. But at this price point ....this is great. Picture quality is great, the sound is okay (but I can understand other reviews ....that its not a premium sound) most likely can make it better with a decent sound bar add on....but you dont know to do that. Its very understandable and its not horriable bad either (just not as good as most more expensive models). I wish there was two HDMI inputs. Most of the time only 1 will be fine for me. But it be nice to have 2. But again I knew that and at this price point I think it is a good TV. I would buy again. Only giving it four....because its not a GREAT TV....until you remember what you paid for it....and then its like: Oh Yeah this is very good at the low price.
This was the perfect TV for my daughters room. She does not have a very big room and I did not want the TV to be the biggest presence.
This TV is just what I needed. The picture is clear and there is no problem with the sound. The setup was easy. I even get more channels than I did with my TV I replaced. Great TV for price and size. This is a winner for me.
I was surprised to find the TV included a DVD player. UPDATE: Two days later the unit is no longer available. I think they sent me the DVD model rather than back order the unit or cancel the order. (A good reflection of the integrity of the vendor in my view.) I have two 19" DVD versions of this TV and Im happy with it. This TV can be modified for RV use - - If youre handy with electronics, soldering, installing connectors and jacks. I removed the back cover and found a very small connector labeled "Power Upgrade". Next to the pins are the labels "12V" and "GND". You can plug the TV into the 120V wall socket and 12V RV socket at the same time for "always ready" viewing. Very happy with my two TVs. Sound is poor (naturally) so use external speakers. Bonus: Its fully compatible with the newer Amazon Firestick remotes that have volume and on/off functions.
This TV is only regular TV, not smart TV. Looks very cheap.Screen sometimes scramble.
The picture quality is quite acceptable. We are using them as CCTV monitors. The price was what drew our attention. Of note is the packaging. They came well packaged with a convenient strap to assist removing the TV from the box. Also, they came packaged with their own handy screwdriver to attach the base with. The remote and menu are intuitive and clear. We are quite pleased.
Good looking screen, great price, so-so sound.
This makes the 5th Sceptre TV I have purchased this year. I think the quality and performance is well beyond their affordable price.
I purchased this tv even though most reviews had issues with sound. The sound isnt the greatest but I get used to it. The problem I have is after a couple hours the sound doesnt match the mouth movement. I turn the tv off and on again and its fixed. Not a huge problem but a real annoyance.
