I purchased this for my Mom as her TV had just died after 15 years of service. I decided to ship it to my place first so I could test it and I am glad I did. The package arrived overnight, which was great although it was also just shipped in the retail box so anyone who can see your front door area will know what you purchased. The packaging appeared fine. I unboxed it and plugged it into one of my blu-ray players and started the setup process. The menu system was easy and setup was done in just a couple of minutes. I started playing the disc that was in the player and worked on the sound and picture settings. The picture was very vivid and clear... ... For all of about 10 minutes ... Then the picture started flickering ... would cut out and go to blue screen ... then back to the movie ... then snow ... then black. After which, I couldnt get it to power back on. So, it was great while it lasted. Now I get the fun of hauling this over to the local UPS office for shipment back.

Open the box to find out there are no screws to fit the 4 holes mounts on the back of the set to mount on TV stand

Great picture. Definitely the best aspect of the TV, especially one this cheap. The sound quality wasnt great, but not awful either. It works well if you dont need really high volume. The quality of the TV itself also feels rather cheap. The plastic doesnt seem like great quality, especially the remote. But I dont think its a problem at all, especially if youre careful. Overall, Im satisfied with this TV. Something this size with great picture quality for less than $200 is a good deal, especially since you can make up for the sound quality with a speaker or sound bar.

I wanted a non-smart TV that didnt require an internet connection to work. I am very pleased with this Sceptre TV. The picture quality is good if you are viewing from directly in front of the TV. The picture is a slightly washed out looking when viewed off center. I use a sound bar with the TV. The built-in speakers have no bass at all. But these problems are common with the current generation of LED TVs. The TV was packaged well and arrived undamaged. Set-up was simple. The TVs case seems sturdy. It doesnt flex when attached to a VESA TV stand. I recommend this TV to anyone who wants a good, basic, non-smart tv.

The picture is fine. The audio is weak. I had to hook up some old cheap external speakers from a 20 year old desktop computer to get anything other than a weak, thin audio. A modern sound bar would be a big help!

bought this for my wife for Christmas, arrived early packaged well, hook up was a breeze had in place and playing in about 15 min. good picture and sound no problems so far.

The color looks better than my sony , so I bought another one ! And the warranty was a good price as well !
