My TV "with built in DVD player?" Has no DVD player. It works a charm as a TV though, and I dont want to go through the trouble of returning it when a separate DVD player is better anyway, and besides I mostly stream now. If that capability is important to you, though, you might want to select another unit.
It worked great for 7 months and now it does not work at all. I tried to get something done from the company that I purchased it from and they can not do anything. I thought RCA was a good company but I guess not. It is not even a year old.
Worst tv Ive ever purchased!! Ive tried contacting RCA who say they can only be contacted via email. No response after daily emails to them!! When playing a dvd I can hear it spinning the entire movie. Also the volume that goes to 100 sounds like its on 5. You cant hear unless standing in front of it.
MY mom is very picky and she loved this TV, her only mistake was she turned off her cable service because the thought a new TV meant she would have all of the channels. LOL............I told her no, get that cable back on so you can enjoy it. I love RCA it is a brand that I swear by at being one of the best, and Samsung as well. I have 4 Tv,s 2 RCA and 2 Samsung, and if you take care of them they will last a very long time. One of my Samsung Tv,s I purchased in 2005 and it still works perfect.

T V is just what I wanted, great product. The shipping department needs training. The box was three times too big, with only a 2 piece of paper thrown in.
I like it a lot. Easy to set up, logical connections, and the picture is great. Only negative is that the sound volume seems a little weak, but that could just be me.
DVD player broker after one week. I now have an old DVD player running into the tv. Would not recommend.
