This was a last minute Christmas gift. Mom wanted a TV for her kitchen and space is at a premium. It took awhile to find one that was the exact right size and I was a bit concerned about an unfamiliar brand name and distributor. It all worked out perfectly. TV is great - sound, picture and size. It was on my doorstep a couple of days after order and in good shape. ... and Mom is happy. Whats not to like!

I deducted 1 star because there is only 1 HDMI port on this TV, when there really should be 2. I deducted another star because they put a label right on the screen itself that left behind residue upon peeling it off. This is unacceptable on a television. The TV is lightweight. The picture is pretty good for a $130 TV. I like that it has both RCA audio out jacks and a headphone jack. If you really want a small size TV, this is certainly one to consider.

Simply, out of the box, the TV didnt perform that great. Shopping for small TV sets is difficult, you wont find major brands in this category. First complain about this TV is the sound! For $10 I recommend the logitech S120 external PC Speakers. So small, they easily stand-up behind, up on the TV Stand; but are sounding so great! They easily connect via the headphone jack on the TV, but do require an extra 115 VAC power connection. Except for extra cabling, they are small and hidden from view. Sounds great! You can also go into TV Custom audio settings to perfect your sound. Without these external speakers, the TV set would have been returned immediately. Adding the simply $10 external speakers saved the purchase, they make such a big difference. Also for the best picture, connect via your own supplied HDMI cable for best picture. I had to go into video settings and pick 1080i/p matching TV and receiver before getting an absolute full screen HD picture. After making these changes, I highly recommend this TV!

I am changing my review. We cant get this TV to sync with the Spectrum/Charter cable box. It requires 2 remotes. We called Pyle customer service and he suggested trying code 1111111 or 0000000. No help there. Spectrum/Charter doesnt have any codes for Pyle. I would send it back except we threw out the boxes. VERY UNSATISFACTORY! Update, reply from another tech support person. "The remote will not really sync with your Spectrum Cable. Remote will just work for the PTVLED18." Technical Adviser Sound Around USA This is outrageous. I recommend not purchasing this TV or any other product from this company

This arrived very quickly and setup was fairly easy. I wish there were more instructions on attaching a DVD player or other components, because it took me awhile to figure it out on this one. Im not sure what I was doing wrong at first because Ive set up lots of TV components before. The color also took a little bit of tweaking at first, but it looks great. This is a great set for small places but be aware that an 18.5 inch screen isnt much bigger than a laptop, so this is not one to have across the room for viewing. Note the description says to check conceal packing at checkout. If you dont, you get the plain box advertising a TV on your doorstep. I forgot to check it, but happened to track the early delivery and went home to pick it up shortly after delivery. The antenna that was supplied with the set allows it to pick up quite a few stations without cable (most in Spanish, but enough for my use for just before bed viewing).

Just received today. Easy to assemble, great color, decent sound, and easy-to-use remote. Hardest thing to do was screw in the screws that attach the stand to the the TV. But not rocket science. I wonder why more people arent taking advantage of this price. Switched to this 19 inch Pyle when my old reliable 15 inch Polaroid TV in the bedroom died. Didnt even have to make more room on the table where the old one was located. Perfect for my needs. Would recommend.

Arrived on time. Packed well, box in a box. Easy setup, and good picture. Deduced one star because of the speaker, its like the sound is coming from a tin can. Adjusting the treble and bass help some, but cannot get rid of the tinny sound, but I will probably add external speakers for better sound.

For a small TV, the sound is far superior to what was expected. I had a smaller TV in the kitchen for the wife (she does a LOT of cooking). The former TV was smaller and while had an acceptable picture, the sound was very bad. Also, virtually no third party (cable/satellite) remote would with it. The picture quality on the Pyle TV is superb. the 1080p image on a 19" (rounded) TV is virtually unheard of. Works perfectly with my Cable tuner as well as the remote. The wife thought it was a bit of a waste at first because we already had a TV there, but the very next day, she was raving about it. I highly recommend this unit.

for $130 for an 18" TV I expected a durable high quality unit. Instead I got a cheaply made run of the mill TV. I installed this in a camper van and it fits great. The picture decent and the sound is ok. All of those things were wound in the $90 TVs. Being that this is in my camper van it will have things plugged into it and unplugged from it more than a household TV, the inputs are very very very cheap and loose. I fear that after just a few uses the DCpower input will be useless, the audio input seems slightly undersized, which meas you have to use a lot of force to get the plug to go in. I should have bought a cheaper TV because the result wouldve been the same, maybe better. I would NOT recommend this TV for a camper or RV.
