After about 7 months the picture would blink on and off when the TV is first turned on. At first, it lasted only briefly, but within a few weeks it became a permanent condition. There is no option to repair or replace despite a manufacturers warranty protecting it from defects. Many call to Amazon and Curtis to no avail.
Dead 7 days after the return window closed, and this was just a bedroom TV. All it had to do was sit on a shelf, and be on maybe an hour a night. It failed. Spend your money elsewhere
I guess I didnt pay close enough attention to the product description but discovered when this arrived that it has only ONE HDMI port ... no way to plug in your fire stick or attach other devices without first unplugging something else. Call me lazy, but Im not going to do that!
Works great! Not sure what i was expecting with the crazy low price, but very nice picture. Well see how it holds up. The speakers are muffled sounding (no bass or treble). I bought a set of L.E.D. computer speakers on Amazon for $15 that hook into the headphone jack and use the USB port for power. Now it looks and sounds great.
The TV is fine, BUT I would not purchase again. I needed a small set to hang in a very small spot so I bought this one based on size alone. We have DirecTV, who does not recognize this brand. That makes us have to use 2 remotes, and I HATE that! We called Direct and were told that this was not a brand that would work with their remotes. I wont make the mistake again. I just did not know that there were only certain brands that would work with only one remote. As far as the TV itself, it is perfectly fine, very high quality pix. P.S. A few weeks after I wrote the above, the TV developed a horizontal line that runs the width of the television, about 4 inches from the bottom.
This is a horrible product! I purchased for my son as a Christmas gift and when I recievedo the first one it didnt work. So I gave my son my Samsung TV which is an excellent product and sent back the pre damaged monitor. They sent me a replacement and SURPRISE 3 weeks later this one has no picture and only sound. This is a horrible product and now Im stuck with this crap TV because I cant get it returned in the timeframe I was given. Im so upset. Will never purchase another proscan item as long as I like live. Its now a giant paperweight
My grand daughter loves this television. Very nice and well packaged for delivery
TV lasted only 6 months and the picture went out. Upon contacing the seller, they would not honor the warranty and I had to junk this piece of junk. The seller is totally a horrible entity to do business with. Never buy a Proscan.
Easy to set up and attach devices. Picture required a few brightness adjustments however I am very satisfied with this purchase and price.
Tv showed up on time and has a nice picture ...Hope i get a few years service out of it..i would probaly buy another one if this one lasts
