I bought this to replace an old 32 inch for the bedroom. Its 39 inches, not sure how that other person measured....I just did and a is true 39 inch screen. I use a streaming box so I dont care about the controls...it works great, great picture,easy to use.
This TV is old. The apps it has are outdated. There is no Hulu app, I have the sense we are lucky it even has Netflix. It is slow to respond to remote control demands, and just feels too old to have bought. But, as a TV with the most basic functionality it works. There are other smart TVs for only $10-$20 here on AMazon that are newer and would be better. Id suggest getting one of those. We just didnt feel like the hassle of packing it back up and shipping it back, having to live without a TV for more time until we got another one. Not especially happy with the purchase but hey, it works I guess.
This particular TV is a total waste of money! "Certified Refurbished" means it broke once already and it was repaired. 90 day warranty is completely absurd. I bought my set April 1st plugged it in April 27th. Today is September 5th and it is useless. I have sound and no picture. If I shine a light at the proper angle I can see the picture barely. From day 1 it has been nothing but problems. HDMI port 2 has never worked, only able to use HDMI 1; since day 1! This set is not even worth the time it takes to read its listing, let alone a single penny. Dont buy a new Emerson product and especially do not buy a "Certified Refurbished" Emerson product either. They do not stand behind their products and have terrible customer service. If you are still reading this review you have wasted enough of your precious time, this set is not worth another second for me to even punctuate this sentence
Kids love it. Works perfect right out of the box. WiFi set up and boom- they were up and running. Picture is amazing too
Terrible smart TV. Netflix is the only usable streaming application provided on this TV. Wireless connection continuity issues.
Ice only had the tv about 6 months, its been great but now it shuts off on its own and today it wont turn on at all. I really like the tv...need it to work again

7 days after expiration of warranty the volume control stopped working and the input from the cable box also has failed
Excellent colors and sound.
Was looking for a perfect fit for my cabinet in my 5th wheel and this did. Great price and picture
