AXESS TV1705-24 24-Inch LED Full 1080p HDTV, Features 1xHDMI/Headphone, RGB and Component Inputs with Full Function Remote

I took a gamble on this small TV given the absence of many reviews because the specs looked good and the TV had lots of connection options. The build quality was very good but I was surprised at how light weight this TV is. Given its lightness it could lend itself to under counter mounting. Set up of the OTA local stations was straight forward and was quicker than an older popular brand TV I own and it even found more stations. Once tuned I was impressed with the bright and vivid colors of the display. Tuning through a handful of the main channels and sub-channels, the picture remained crisp and tuning was fast. I next connected the TV to a media player via the HDMI input. Again I was impressed by the vivid display. Sound from the speakers had sufficient volume and was of better quality than what I expected from a small TV. Information on how the USB input could be used was sparse so I loaded a thumb drive with an album of mp3 files and a folder of photos in jpg format. To try that out (BTW all the photos had been previously down sized for display on a Digital picture frame). The menu to display the photos was not very polished but it was adequate. Once I navigated through the menu the photos played in sequence with varying transition effects. While the photos were still being displayed I then navigated to the music album and was surprised that I now had sound accompanying my slide show. So a nice extra that may lend itself for using the TV in many use cases. Outside of the clunky menu for playing media via a thumb drive the only other issue I came across was making connections to the inputs. So using an ultra slim HDMI cable is highly recommended for the HDMI connector and using an F Type Push On Quick Connect Adapter for the TV coax input made that much easier to connect. (Refer to the accompanying photos) Despite these minor annoyances I am very happy with this purchase and give it 5 Stars. Update on 2019-05-23. This TV is still working fine but I wish the design made it possible to use with a Universal Remote. The supplied remote is 8.5" long, about an inch longer than the remotes used with comparable TVs. For this reason Im and taking away a Star from the other wise fine portable TV

I use this great little TV in my kitchen. While Im cooking, which is every day for at least an hour, this little TV is on. The picture quality is excellent. It was an easy set up. I attached my Roku and started streaming. I was not disappointed in this TV one bit, and neither will you be.

I have owned three small TVs in the past 5 years and this AXESS 13" is the best one yet. The speakers are on the front of the TV and therefore provide great volume. The others I had needed external speakers to provide good volume. The TV was easy to set up. Plug it in, connect the external antenna and scan for channels. I am receiving 28 channels. NBC,CBS,ABC,FOX and PBS. I also get MeTV, ION and the 25-1thru 12 channels. Im happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

This TV has a really good picture. However, it is not as large as it says. It is 1 inch smaller on height and width. The sound is terrible. I put extra speakers on it. It is very light weight and that is good.

This TV replaces my very old TV in the kitchen. As I took the unit out of the box, I connected an outside antenna, which is on top of my air conditioner. I simply scanned the channels in my area (Brooklyn, New York). I used to receive 63 channel and some of them on and off with my old TV Now I receive 68 channels and none of them drop out. This is a great TV and it has lots of inputs and what have you. I have no problems with this unit, and recommend it. Money well spent.

Great TV that fits easily into small spaces. Took out of the box, plugged it in and a great picture appeared. Who could ask for more at such an affordable price? I might even purchase a 2nd one.

I had this tv two months. It worked when I installed it, but the sound was horrible, but I decided to keep it anyway, since it fit the space I needed. It stopped working and the company selling this tv would not take it back. Buyer be VERY AWARE that you can not return it. I assumed there is a one year warranty like all other companies usually offer on electronics, but not this one. Remember what they say about assuming!!!! Should have both the other tv I compared this one to from Walmart. At least they will let you return within a year.

So far, so good....had it about a month now and its better than I expected. This 13" replaced a 9" so I was afraid it would be too big under my kitchen counter, but it fits just fine. Picture is excellent and sound is...good....acceptable for its size. I have it connected to a tee sharing its input with another TV where the FIOS cable box is located. Its exactly what I was looking for and with the roughly $20 mount (purchased separately) it was a good deal.

I wanted a small TV for my home office. This is great. I added a Firestick to it and its good to go. Bought a different brand but the remote was teensy. This has a full remote. I wont use the battery feature since Ill leave it in the office and I have an 18 inch tablet for TV when I travel.
