This is a review for the "Artlii Portable DLP Projector with 5200mAh Built-in Battery for Travel and Outdoor, Support 3D and Auto Keystone Correction, Compatible with iPhone and Smartphone." I recently received this projector, and it has been a pleasure to use! It is small and highly portable, with many connectivity options. It is delivered in an elegant package. It was very easy to set up and use right out of the box in about a minute. I am extremely impressed by the sharpness, clarity, vivid colors, and brightness, of the image. It feels like the native image resolution (854*480p per manufacturer) of this little projector is as sharp as, if not sharper than, other projectors that I have used that technically have a higher native resolution. This could be because of the “New DLP” technology advertised by the seller. Pros: Very clear image with vivid colors that is remarkably bright for the size of the projector. Extremely easy to set up and use. Very quiet operation. Less noise than experienced with larger projectors. Multiple connectivity options, including wireless, USB and HDMI. The remote, that is included in the package, activates many on-screen control options and is very easy to use. Using the supplied remote, you can set up and run an entire slideshow directly from a USB drive plugged into the USB port without need for a computer or iOS device (both of which could also be used if needed). The projector can be used while it is directly plugged in to the mains using the USB power supply that is provided in the package. Given the seemingly low power requirements, the projector can also be run using a portable power bank. The recommended projection size is ~90 inches at a distance of 7 feet. However, I felt that the image quality was superb at various distances that were smaller or slightly larger than the recommended distance. Therefore, I feel that it is likely to be easy for most users to have a good and clear image even with different projection conditions and configurations that one might need in different settings. I did some tests holding the projector at different angles and turning it upside down. The projector automatically senses orientation and applies keystone correction automatically too. If you turn it upside down, it immediately projects the image in the right orientation and keystone corrects it! It’s amazing how quickly and well this works. In addition to the power supply and remote that are included with the Artlii projector, the package also comes with a soft, velvet case in which the projector can be carried. Finally, the design uses a recessed lens (with a focus wheel on the side) which means that the lens is more protected from scratches etc. Cons: So far, there are no cons that I have observed. One aspect, that is not a con, is that the image is remarkably bright, but one needs to have realistic expectations. Given the small size of the projector, the brightness is not such that you could view a large image comfortably in a brightly lit room. To see the best image quality, you would do well to have a reasonably lit, or darkened room (I don’t think it needs to be completely dark). I hope that the projector works as well for others as it has been working so far for me. I am happy to try and answer questions if needed.

Install Flash Player UPDATE 1: Not in the owner manual, but when watching HDMI source, you can push the ZOOM button on the remote, and you will get an option to change the aspect ratio, but if you push then the return button, you will have options to change, 3D options, brightness, color, contrast, sharp, etc. not sure if it came in the 4/03/2019 update that i got.... mine came originally with 3/28/2019 firmware.... great they are updating the firmware with new features, is the first projector that i have that have firmware updates... most had the option but there is no updates posted. When i first receive it i tried to check for updates after I connected it to my wifi, but it told me that i got the latest update, but the next day a message window pop up telling me that there were an update for the projector and i took it. UPDATE 2: I just got a cheap xpand x-102 3D glasses, and tried some SBS movies and youtube videos, Id have to get close to the screen to sync them, then i moved back about 9 ft and they work, not sure why so close to sync, could be the old x-102 glasses or the brightness of the screen at 100", but i reduce it at about 20 and still need to get closer to syn them, maybe a better glasses can help. But i can tell you that when they work, the effects are great, my friends were so much impressed with it once they watch the 3D effect, also when i connect it wireless to my Windows 10 laptop as a second monitor... i use the android miracast option then i open Settings on the laptop then Devices, then + add bluetooth or other device, it find it and connect to it easily.... 3D effects do not work when you are mirroring your phone or pc, just from HDMI and USB, hope a future firmware fix that.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Later last year my tv broke down, so in the while, i took my old 720P Excelvan CL720D projector out of the dust to project a FireTv stick and avoid getting crazy at evenings.... I was so pleased with the quality of the image that i decided to keep using it for karaokes on friends and family reunions as well as for movie watching at home... starting this year, searching at amazon I found a Artlii 720p projector below the 120 bucks, being 720p, and a lot small than my old projector (about half size) that i decided to buy it even tough it was rated at less lumens. To my surprise the Artlii projector was clearer, brighter and with richer colors for the budget that i get impressed with the brand. After know about their mini DLP projector was just released, i give it a shot easily as i want to have an smaller projector just to take it out with me to all parties and reunions without the bulky case. I can tell you that this is my first DLP and mini projector, and again Im impressed with this brand. I know that all electronics devices made in china are mostly the same just but rebranded, and i think this is the case too, but it looks like Artlii is taking care of what they are offering. This projector, although is not 720P as my other ones, projects a really clear and colorful video, I just want it was a little brighter, but it is a mini, hand size projector, so Im good with the brightness. The best is it arrived just in time that i took it to my friends reunion yesterday.... it was a hit! Id take it out, connect it to our speaker with the microphone and connect my phone wirelessly to the projector... opened youtube and played some karaoke and videos.. all were really impressed with it. It would be great at hotels on vacations and movie night on camping. It is a keeper. Image quality with a projector screen will increase, but unfortunately the one that i got was lost in mail, so Im in the process of get another one. Pros: -Really small. -Clear, sharp and colorful image. -DLP technology no pixelation almost visible. -Total portability (2-3 hrs battery powered and palm size) -Easy Setup. -3D ready SBS & top bottom with a dedicated button on remote (although I havent try it as i dont have my DLP link active 3D glasses yet). -Autokeystone correction -Wireless connectivity (Miracast & Airplay for Android & IOS) without the need of any Wifi dongle as Anycast, chromecast, etc. -HDMI and USB and audio out interface port. -Internal video, photo, music and txt media player. -Easy to handle and very responsive remote control. -Comes with a small tripod. -Stable Linux OS -Accept online firmware updates (hope they keep updating it) Cons: -Only 50 ANSI lumens, but you get a good video with low light to dark room projecting a 100" size image, better when projecting on an smaller projection. -No Bluetooth for wireless speaker pairing. -Speakers, not the best but useful -480P native resolution although capable of decode 1080p videos. -Cant install any app (a firmware update should fix that) Conclusion: There should be better ones at high prices, but I really like this one, its size, battery powered and video quality make it great for me.. all cons arent a deal breaker for me. Will update with more videos as soon as i get my projector screen... note: video was downgraded when i uploaded to amazon review...

See attached picture 3) I loved the colors. It is so bright and lovely. Loved it. 4) The best part was the phone mirroring. Now a days mostly almost all the pictures and videos you take are taken using mobile phone. And this projector has built in support for screen casting for iPhones and Android phones. It is so smooth and works every single time. I was amazed with the technology. 5) Another best part is its portability. This is so small and also can be carried in pocket. Its just blown my mind for its portability and picture quality. 6) It also has 2GB built in memory and battery good enough to watch one full length movie. They have really thought through enough before coming with this excellent product. 7) I am so excited to take this to office and use it while showcasing my cool projects on any wall. 8) All these pictures attached are taken on rough wall as I was still waiting for my projector screen to get delivered. It is so excellent on rough surface, it will be brilliant on white smooth surface or screen. 9) It also supports UB drive. You can carry your pictures in USB drive and connect on the go and watch it while traveling. 10) I have set this up in my room and using it all the time. I just dropped an idea to buy TV for my room. This works great. And can be carried with me when traveling. One projector serves my purpose fully. 11) I am mostly using Chromecast when watching movie at home. I have my chromecast attached to the projector and just cast movie on it using my laptop. 12) It has built in speaker with amazing quality. You can easily connect external projector if you already home theater.

Install Flash Player Bought this WiFi enabled wireless mini projector and so far loving it. The set up was extremely easy and I was able to watch a 2hr movie without any issues. It is extremely portable and can be carried along anywhere. Mirrored my iphone to projector and worked like charm. Based on the size of the projector the picture quality, resolution and throw ratio are awesome. The speaker however is not that great and might need an external speaker if you are watching a movie in an open area or a big sized room. The item was shipped on time without any issues. Quality of the projector seems sturdy. It comes with a mini light weight tripod and a remote which are of good quality as well.The projector itself fits in the palm and is very portable. I would definitely recommend this product. They claim 3 hrs battery life but for me it was around 2hrs before it gave me a low battery warning.

Projector arrived in well packaged condition and inside contained a remote, a DC power supply, a tabletop tripod, and the projector itself. The projector is power packed and amazing. You turn on the projector with click of button and seamlessly you can access the interface on any flat surface.. I set up a tripod about 7 feet away and the projection was around 80 inches. Wifi connection was breeze, it took just a second to connect to my home wifi. The brightness was really good considering the size of this thing. The resolution seems to be quite good which is perfectly fine for this kind of portability. The fan noise was really quiet which was cool and the projector didnt get hot at all. Overall this is built extremely nice, it allows you to use a USB or a Micro SD Card to watch your movies and shows. I was able to connect to Amazon Fire TV stick and Chromecast. It also allowed me to use mirror to my iphone display without any issues. This is a cool feature and I can not recommend it enough. Overall its a very good projector which is portable, allows to connect wirelessly, nice display/sound and connectivity to media devices/iphone is very smooth. See pics and video attached.

I purchased this mini projector from Artlii because I own a larger projector from the same company and have been very pleased with it and found it to be of the highest quality. I am just as happy with this mini as the full sized. Its small footprint allows me to toss it in my purse and be at the ready in a moment’s notice. I use it for work in rooms where there is no existing equipment and for impromptu presentations. It is so convenient I can pull out and use it just to illustrate points and demonstrate visually even in unplanned situations. While the ultimate convenience in office settings, it is just as useful for entertainment. Portability is useful for outdoor situations (but not in full sunlight, of course) and to watch a movie wherever you are. Battery life is good at about 2 hours, and I keep a power bank handy for longer use times. One of the most important factors to me besides clarity (high marks) is brightness, and this unit scores well in this also. Viewing conditions are not always perfect, so I include pictures in 3 types of lighting situations, 1) bright window light in addition to overhead fluorescents (the worst condition for a projector) 2) Bright window light, but no overhead light 3) a dark room. The image is passable in poor environments and excellent in good conditions. The auto keystone correction works quickly and well. Focus is simple. It comes with a mini tripod that is usable, but you may want to replace with a sturdier one. I plan to get a floor tripod for multiple situation use functionality. My only minor wish is that it had a USB C for charging and connection rather than a USB Micro B. Overall I would purchase this again and would recommend it to anyone seeking a mini projector for portability. The quality of this item is quite amazing for the price.

I have put this tiny projector through the paces. Keeping in mind a 480p native resolution, when running a 1080p source the conversion is seamless and the image sharp and clear. Edge focus is much better than others in this class. The auto-keystone correction actually works and it works immediately. With a full charge I was able to watch a 110 minute movie from internal battery (no connection to a power source). The DLP chip works well with this model. No noticeable rainbow effect which I have noted in other more expensive models. Fan noise is barely audible. The only possible con to consider is that the lumen output may be low if you have ambient light conditions. Note that for a dark room it works great. If you need a cordless, WiFi, pico size projector, this is the best value out there.

This projector rocks! The body is actually made of aluminum with other parts being plastic. Very easy to setup and use with no weird interfaces and long connection times. Hefty feel to it and its nice to see that firmware can be updated for future via usb drive or wifi. They included a free gift which I will claim the 100" cinema screen. Keep in mind this isnt to replace a full scale projector but its so nice that its portable and can be charged with a portable battery bank. I really respect the Asian culture and the way they handle business. They always go above and beyond for buyers only wish American business would be this prompt.

This portable projector is amazing. It fits in the palm of your hand and can fit into your pocket. Pros 1. Small size 2. Battery life (2-3 hours) 3. Portability 4. Great image quailty for the size. 5. Bright in a dark room 6. WiFi mirroring from your smart phone Cons 1. tripod could be stronger 2. Best displayed in a darker room but will work in a bright room as well. I absolutely love this projector and would recommend it. The WiFi monitoring works amazing with my iPhone and I use this to watch movies with my kids on the ceiling and the outdoors. Great buy A++++++++.

So I have been in the market for a portable projector to use when I am hanging out in my sun-room and I came across this Artlii projector my accident and wow I am not disappointed. The quality and packaging shows me they care and its awesome. Works with my Amazon FireTV and iOS device flawlessly. I am for sure bringing this along on my long trips from home. If you need something portable get this!
