This unit interfaced perfectly with my Samsung TV panel so the controller for the player worked with my TV seamlessly. My only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars is that this Player looked and felt cheap. The ribbed housing wasnt very clean to me. It actually looked rather "unkept" as a product. Not polished. Im not sure why "they" chose the outer housing to look tech grip like. It just doesnt look or feel good. BUT that being said, it works flawlessly and plays all my collection of multi region DVDs and BluRay collection.

Surprised how easy it is to switch between regions, no issues at all (once we got the regions memorized on what number they are, but until then just kept the list by the remote). Also like that it switches are tv to video automatically when you turn on the blue ray player, plus when you stop whatever your watching it will power the tv off also if you dont put it on another channel in a short amount of time. Only thing I wish it had was a small dim light so you know if its actually off when your done and switch back to tv.

Wish I had bought something else. Like some of the other reviewers, I have had nothing but problems with this unit. It got replaced with a $50 kmart special and has been quickly outshined. Player glitches several times a day and shuts itself off, will not recognize my standard blurays and does the same to my other region dvds. In short, this unit is a pile of junk and I am a dissatisfied customer.

Weve had this player for 4 years now. Its worked great in all that time. I can put in a disc from England, and it plays it just like it would play a disc from the US. No problems at all in the entire 4 years Ive had it.

The item arrived in double quick time, I was very impressed with the delivery service. The machine itself does everything you need from a Multi region player and gives out a very steady and high quality performance. I would add though that, in order to get it to operate in the UK, I had to purchase a separate Voltage Transformer (change voltage from 110v - 220v) but once that arrived, I was all systems go and the machine is still working very well. A definite good buy.

Item as described, easy to use, plays all regions with no fuss on both DVDs and Blu-Rays. The reason I dropped one star is because it doesnt support the angle function very easily, although it is present in a submenu. You are not able to switch between angles while the media is playing, for example, you cannot toggle between broadcast and remastered versions of "Star Trek: The Original Series" to show off the new effects, but you can change between them and then restart the episode in the format of your choice. Also, doesnt remember where you left off when you insert a disc; you have to restart from the opening menu every single time, then find your place again manually. Other than those 2 complaints, I am very happy with this product.

Other than the fact that the supplier did not get it to us in 2 days as scheduled, the device, after set-up, worked brilliantly. I first watched season 2, episode 1 of Life on Mars, U.K. region 2 version. DCI Hunt and Sam Tyler never looked better. Then it was on to the first Fast and Furious where everything jumped right out of the screen at us. OBTW, we dont own any blue ray so well let you know about that some day. The last film was Excalibur from 1981. I thought I was back in the cinema when it first came out. This old DVD never looked like this on any of our older players. I have to say that it is money very well spent!

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is a hacked Samsung player that they are selling. Had I known I could hack myself for less time and money I would never have bought this. Customer service is questionable. They are nice until you ask them to provide you with a player that actually works or for a refund. Bought this 12/24/2016 Rarely used and then on 7/2/16 it locked up; I would turn it on but could not open and the player was no longer being recognized by my Samsung TV. I tested the HDMI cable to ensure it wasnt the cable and it worked with another player. So I sent it back to Bombay Electronics and got it returned to me around the end of July/Beginning of August. On 8/14/16 I was experiencing the same issue so I had to send it back to fix (mind you for each return I paid for shipping and insurance). After 2+weeks of not hearing from them, I reached out to and I was asked to provide the return address (which I thought would have been part of the RMA), and was told on 9/2/16 the fixed player was shipped. After getting the fixed player about a week later, I used it for a second time on 9/26/16 and this time, player would not open but my TV at least recognized the device but was stuck Loading. I again emailed Bombay Electronics and asked them for a refund considering this is the 3rd time it is not working and I MAYBE got to use the player for 6 mos. Their reply implied that this was user issue as they have never encountered this many issues with this item with any other customer. SMH. They offered a different model but my question to them was, what is the policy if THAT player doesnt work. And that I would just like a refund. At this point, the nice customer service person, became even less nice and didnt respond. Today, after 7 days of getting no reply I pinged him again and was told I would get an end of Sept prorated rated of $65. $65 wont even pay for the money I spent sending the player back multiple times. At this point, I am sure they will ask me to spend my $ to return so I can get the refund and basically I have lost $ through this whole ordeal. SO NOT WORTH IT.

I bought this for my sons multiregion toy story DVDs & monsters Inc DVDs & when I decided to watch my blue ray discs on it, it would not play them. So I got lied to or got a bad one or something. This is way too expensive to buy & not work correctly. I would not recommend to anyone.
