It is a decent refurbished blu-ray player at a reasonable price. The only drawback is that it does not have a wireless adapter, so if you want to connect it to the internet to use any of the streaming services or need to update the firmware, you have to use an ethernet cable. That is really the only drawback. Otherwise, it is easy to set up and gives a nice 1080p picture (as long as your tv supports a 1080p output).

I bought this Oct. 2016, everything was working fine till a month ago. No longer plays any blu-ray discs. Normal DVDs it will play with no problem. I was hoping it would last longer than the VHS player, but not so. My suggestion too you is. Dont buy refurbished. Go the extra mile and buy new. Youll save in the long run.

Took a little time to receive this unit but presidents day probably had something to do with the delay. The DVD player arrived in like-new condition. There are no scratches anywhere and it works 100%. Even my 20+ year old home-made family DVDs play flawlessly and the picture quality is great. Not much to offer from LG for streaming apps and streaming can be a little quirky, but it works and my main reason to buy this unit was for blu-ray DVD playback. Just wish Hulu Live would be supported, but the live part isnt. Nevertheless, the price was right.

this LG Blu-RayPlayer Stalls, Stops, while watching movies and wont allow to go back to the movie unless you reactivate again, but is useless because it does the same thing again. This is the second LG Blu-Ray I have owned and the first was also a piece of junk. I do not recommend purchasing any LG Blu-Ray. Amazon needs to delete all the LG products from the Market. I would give this product a Minus Zero.This LG Blu-Ray Player should be scrapped into a JUNK Pile. . Of course at the price I should have known better. I do not recommend purchasing this Blu Ray Player and Amazon should take it off the purchase list and not allow the seller to to use Amazon..

Came in good shape and works well. I hope it doesnt go out on me as I really enjoy having it now. I will say it is 4 star instead of 5 because the remote seems rather weak. I must aim it directly at the front of the unit or it doesnt not pick up the input from the remote. Plays dvds great. Plays Blue rays great. For half the price.

Bought this as a Certified Refurbished product, primarily to watch streaming services (Netflix and Amazon) with the occasional Blu-Ray disc now and then. Netflix streaming is broken: video stutters and pauses, then player becomes completely unresponsive and needs to be power-cycled. Have not tested Blu-Ray or DVD playback.

I absolutely love this player! Not only does it play our BluRays and DVDs but it plays DVDs that my other DVD players wont play (because they are too scratched or worn). It is super easy to use as well. The only thing that was unexpected is that it has to be hard wired to the internet and I dont have it in the same room as my router so I havent been able to try out the streaming services yet. It looks and functions like a brand new machine!

JUNK ... buy refurbished, get refurbished. This hunk of nonsense wouldn’t play boy-ray discs. It did play DVDs but would lock up whenever blu-rays were inserted. Had to pull the power cable and restart it just to get the disc out ... tried tech support, online forums, etc. Total waste of time, move on and save yourself hours.
