Made from precision-machined satin-finished acrylic the platter replaces the standard metal one offering improved sonic characteristics and a visually sleek appearance.

Resonance Control and Sound QualityOne of the standout features of the Acryl It is its resonance-reducing properties. Acrylic is an inert material that naturally dampens unwanted vibrations allowing for clearer more accurate sound reproduction. In contrast to metal platters which typically require a felt mat to reduce static and resonance the Acryl It allows you to place records directly on its surface. This not only minimizes static buildup but also ensures better contact between the record and the platter resulting in a more detailed and engaging audio experience.
Design and InstallationThe platter is easy to install simply swap it with your existing metal one. Its design includes a recessed center area to accommodate record labels ensuring that records lie flat during playback. The platter is also compatible with accessories like the Pro-Ject Clamp It which further improves record stability and vibration control (sold separately).
