Description
Fluance's Elite High Fidelity Turntable plays traditional LP and EP vinyl records with stunning quality that achieves the purest sound reproduction. When you want the absolute best in music performance, pull out your favorite 33 1/3 or 45 RPM records, hook up your sound system, drop the needle, and immerse yourself in the Fluance RT81 Record Player.

Pure Analog Listening Experience
Your soul will be captivated by the crisp, distinguishing characteristics of the music you love. Premium components allow this belt driven turntable to produce a pure uncompressed listening experience that recreates the performance the way the artist intended.

High Performance Cartridge for Warmer Sound
Your music will sound richer when the Audio Technica AT95E moving magnet stylus rests in the grooves of your favorite vinyl record at a mere 2.0 grams of tracking force. The upgraded elliptical stylus is renowned for its freedom from noise and distortion, clarity on musical peaks, and channel balance.

Complete Clarity Without Compromising Your Collection
You'll savor every note thanks to the balanced and adjustable counterweight of the S-Type tonearm. The fluid movement of the bearings within the tonearm coupled with the advanced anti-skating system practically caresses your record, preventing scratching and ensuring the stylus is perfectly rested deep in your record's groove for perfect playback every time.

Wood Plinth for Superior Resistance to Vibrations
The mass-loaded multi-layered MDF wood chassis inhibits the transfer of unwanted resonance through the system. Sound isolation feet, an aluminum platter and a Rubber Platter Mat significantly reduce reverberation, leaving you with pure stereophonic sound.

Premium Components for Captivating Signal Clarity
The built-in high-quality Texas Instruments preamp, ground terminal and gold plated RCA line outputs.

Why I’m never buying a Fluance product again.
Simple answer, lack of technical support, basically told me I have a paper weight now. No one on their customer service team knows anything about their products. Or even worse, they just don’t care. I bought a RT81 as my first turntable based on reviews and price. When assembling the turntable I realized the drop mechanism was really fast and plopped the needle very hard on the record. Since I read these tone arms aren't the best I figured that's just how they are. A couple years later I purchased a Cambridge ALVA ST and put the RT81 in the basement to collect dust. When using my buddies RT81 years later, I realized the drop mechanism on his was way better then mine and my RT81 was defective since day one. Feeling like an idiot I contacted Technical support and they told me to apply super lube 51004 under the screw located next to the drop mechanism. I bought the lube.. did not work. I contacted customer support again and all they could tell me is that my warranty is expired so take it to a repair shop. Since I don't want to take a $250 turntable to a repair shop or replace a tonearm on a cheap turntable I decided to open up the bottom and take a look. Everything looked as it should so I continued to take the piston out of the drop mechanism and tried everything I could do to get it to work. Realizing the problem was probably the tolerance within the piston, I contacted customer service again! They refused to send me a new piston, refused to sell me a new tonearm, and refused to tell me who the manufacturer is. They didn't even try to help me solve this issue. So let this be a warning to anyone who buys a Fluance product. You have 2 years of warranty and after that, no one on their customer support team has the knowledge to help and it's against their policy to send any parts no matter how big/small or even tell you who manufactured the parts. Even if you take it to a repair shop, they would need the same part or information to fix it!! I guess they think in 2 years you'll probably upgrade and throw their products out anyway.. And to be fair that is probably what happens 98% of the time. Just spend a little bit more money and shop where they take pride in what they do
