The scanner comes preloaded with DMR and NXDN (please note trunking and other digital modes, including APCO P25 are not supported) so you can start using your scanner as soon as you take it out of the box. It also receives NOAA® S.A.M.E weather alerts. You can start searching at the displayed frequency or enter a frequency and start searching. Use the free Uniden software BCDX60DN SS and BC VUP to manage your scanner’s Profiles, Favorites Lists, Databases, and firmware updates. And Alpha Tagging lets you assign names to up to 1,000 channels so you can keep track of who you are listening to.
