Excellent
I bought it at Heathrow Airport, when I was traveling, to South America, I used to go in the mountains and it rained a lot, while I enjoyed the music, it sounds great, in fact it got wet in the mountains, rivers, Beaches. It is advisable Thank You JBL

Can support sealife and still work
Found mime floating in the ocean over a year ago near mangroves covered in barnacles. Took it home plyed off the barnacles, pressed the on button and connected to my phone straight away. 10/10 would buy the new one when this one eventually dies.

Good Speaker…BUT
I’m not gonna lie this is a great speaker it has good sound, battery life, the outside is pretty durable, BUT and this is a big but I have had Two of these speakers Stop taking a charge and Die on me for no reason. I only use the charger that comes with it too.I Don’t plan on buying another one just for it to Quit on me again.

Garbage speaker
Bought this speaker and had nothing but problems. 2 chargers both went bad and now the speaker has blown and sounds horrible. I use to love jbl but it's junk now.

Great speaker
Bought this speaker for the boat and we found the sweet spot location to put it and the sound is amazing! Great bass response, good midrange and clear treble. This unit fills the whole boat better than a full stereo from the factory. 5 stars for this speaker.

Works great! When it worked...
My wife and I got an Extreme 2 speaker. Really enjoyed it. Love the weatherproof design, portability, bluetooth and wired sound capabilities. Great sound - the total package! But, it just stopped working after almost 2 years of owning it. It won't turn on at all. Maybe you should warn potential customers that these things may not work in the future? Excellent But..
I bought it a month ago, it is good. cheap good sounding, but there are problems too, first the input lag sucks, it feels like 1 second of input, but that's fine because I use it for music and out door use only, very durable and its nice that it can stand up and that's its easy to carry around. it is sad that you cannot EQ it thru the app but I just downloaded an EQ app. So the Xtreme 2 rating is 4.6 starts (Amazing)
