Amazing product to make the karaoke nights at home more lively. It sounds amazing and have really good bass for the sound. Overall a great product for parties and events at home, the only drawback I see is that it's really big to take it anywhere.

The perfect partying package
Overall Quality & Feel & Important Features: As any other JBL product, the built quality of this speaker is outstanding. Every detail was thought thoroughly and it’s the perfect speaker for a gathering. It is important to note that the tuning knobs on top of the speaker are for the wireless microphone and not for the speaker itself. That was a feature I noticed afterwards. Moving along, the fine adjustment knobs work great, they add value to the experience, and it makes singing/karaoke more enjoyable. As it allows customization to each performer, it makes you want to grab the microphone and become a part of the action. The narrow long gap/indent in front of the speaker also serves a holder purpose for the mobile devices. Lyrics or different visuals can be presented at an easy-to-view angle thanks to that design. Personally, if I am going on a picnic, a little backyard party, or a small city gathering, I would rather have this speaker than a regular JBL Partybox or Boombox. They sound very similar to each other, but the addition of the microphone makes a huge difference. ____________ The lights work very well and although they are not as customizable as a JBL Pulse speaker, there is a lighting setting for everyone. From a white strobe lighting to smooth and vibrant hue changes, they are pleasant to watch. The lights are responsive to audio as well, they get thicker or move quicker once a louder note is played which is awesome. They are fully synchronized with the music and the input from the microphone. ____________ The microphone performs with no delay and the knobs help tremendously to achieve the right vocal setting. The two little microphone holders on the side of the speaker are a great touch and very useful. The strap and the strap holders are very sturdy, I can see myself having it on my shoulder for long periods of time with no discomfort. The other wired microphone and guitar inputs are a very classy touch as well. I cannot try the guitar input as I do not own one, however, based on my experience, the sound will be similar to what it is with the microphone. Therefore, I could see guitar players utilizing this feature often. ____________ On-speaker controls and buttons are designed nicely with proper indicators. They are smooth to the touch and to twist. Meanwhile the buttons that are meant to be pressed are quite stiff (in a positive way) and they give good responses. The “Bass Boost”, power on/off, and Bluetooth buttons all light up which is great. However, it would have been great to have the light show button actually light up as well. As it is a main feature of the product and mostly used at night, it would make sense to have it light up. Additionally, since there are already five knobs on the speaker, it would have been better to have a knob for volume as well. My mind kept searching for a wheel to twist to adjust the volume after twisting the eq knobs but then I had to settle for flat volume control buttons. Overall, all the controls someone would need are all located on the speaker. Many changes could be made directly on the speaker without the need of a mobile device. In addition, the back of the speaker has an input for the power cable, aux, and a USB Type-A to charge mobile devices. Most of us need extra juice when partying or after a long day so that is a useful add-on. ____________ Audio Quality: The speaker is equipped with the signature JBL Pro Sound blasting 100 watts of power. It is very powerful both inside and outside. The audio is pretty much the same as a regular JBL Partybox, this version just comes with the microphone. There is no significant sound distortion either. The tunes get slightly flat as the speaker reaches maximum values but it’s very minimal and barely noticeable to everyday users – not a dealbreaker at all. The highs and mids are very crisp and defined, while the lows are punchy. The lows are incredible as there are two “Bass Boost” options via the button on the speaker. They make a recognizable difference and truly enhance the quality of the output. Especially in genres that include prominent lows such as dance music/electro pop and rap. ____________ Overall, this is a very solid speaker with a powerful output and quality features. It’s well-made with extra attention to detail.
Ready for any party!
With this speaker you are ready to party! I love that this speaker has so many features for whatever kind of party you are having. The lights and bass boost both create an amazing atmosphere. The lights are fun and have multiple different options. The bass boost really makes a difference in the music and definitely changes the party. One negative was how difficult it was to get the microphone to connect initially. The quick start guide didn’t offer any clear instructions on how to make it connect but after trying different things I was able to make it connect by turning the mic volume knob all the way off and then back on. Once it was connected I have been able to turn the mic off and back on and it connects seamlessly. The battery life is pretty good considering the range of options available on this speaker. I also love the handles and carry strap that comes with it. Lastly I do love that it’s splash resistant in case anything accidentally spills!
Great speaker. Lacking microphone
This is a very nice speaker. Lights are a cool feature and the sound quality from Bluetooth is good. The only thing that I have to say in a negative manner is the microphone audio quality. The microphone itself feels nice it doesn’t feel like a cheap mic. The quality is lacking though. Slightly delayed and not a very clean sound.
Great Karaoke Speaker that Punches Above its Size!
This is a wonderful party speaker! It has great sound quality and fun features that make it a must have for your next party with family and friends! For a smaller form-factor portable speaker, this thing really packs a punch in terms of sound. The bass is excellent - rich and deep and punchy! The highs and mids sound great, especially for a speaker of this size - it punches above its size, so to speak. As for fun, it includes a wireless microphone that works perfectly! It connects quickly and sounds awesome! It includes all of the expected microphone controls atop the speaker, including microphone volume, tone controls, and echo. Great stuff! The light show on the front of the speaker is a lot of fun too, but can also be turned off if you want to save a little bit of battery life. The speaker also comes with a strap for easier carrying if you want to lug it to a party at a friend/family member's house! Overall, this is an awesome speaker to have if you and your family like to have karaoke at their parties!
Life of the Party
They’ll be fighting over who gets the mic next with this Party on the Go karaoke extravaganza. Sure to bring excitement to any gathering. Wireless microphone powered by two AA batteries lasts all night and has an adjustable echo/reverb. Speaker volume is impressive although its bass frequency response leaves a little punch to be desired. Overall, love this speaker is great for small parties and sing alongs.
Great Product and Great Sound
Love this thing. Its a solid portable speaker and does a great job of making a lot of good sound. It is a bit lighter on the bass but overall I think that it does a really good job. It really comes into its home in outdoor areas as it does a great job of filling a lot of space with sound with out being overpowering. My only gripe would be that it can only link with another speaker of its type and cant use TWS like all the other partyboxes. As for the microphone, it sounds great and doesn't have feedback or any other issues; however, setting it up was a bit confusing (turn the mic on and set it on top of the speaker then turn the speaker on). Overall, sounds great though and a very quality product. Also liked the sound modification knobs on top of it.

Whether you want to listen to your favorite music at high volume, sing along to your favorite music, or MC a social event, the PartyBox On-The-Go is all you need. The sound quality is impeccable, the mic is handy, and the light show adds a lot of fun to any occasion. The boombox itself is portable and easy to carry or stow if you need. It produces A-1 sound that includes some of the deepest bass a stereo can offer. The adjustable levels allow you to listen to music or your own voice as loudly and clearly as you want. Taking the mic into your hands really makes you feel like a superstar, and it has given me and my daughter tons of karaoke fun! I also brought it to my brother’s themed birthday party where we used it to get the attention of the partygoers and make announcements, as well as have a karaoke battle! It’s nice to show up to a party and bring the party with you! Another great feature is that it doesn’t need to always be plugged in to work. It’s wireless! So handy! Also, you can hook up a guitar to it… I don’t play the guitar (or any instrument) but would love to test this out one day! Overall, this is such a great product for the price, and I can’t recommend it enough to the entertainer, the music lover, the artist, and people who love having fun with a microphone.
