What an amazing speak with amazing sound quality
I received this speaker in exchange for my honest review and it’s absolutely amazing. The sound quality is fantastic and so clear . I must add it’s bigger than you actually think and quite heavy to but don’t let that put you off how good it actually sounds. The light show is a nice added extra which can be switched off if you require and the app you can download with the speaker is so easy to use and offers a load more options for the speaker

I bought it a week ago go. So lovely. It is a bit heavy. Music is crisp clear with the bass booming. Bluetooth connects easily. It can pair with other JBL party boxes with use of one button. Battery life is good.

I have many JBL products and The JBL partybox 520 is new addition to my collection. It's a fantastic product if you love outdoor parties and like quality sound. The JBL PartyBox 520 is also perfect for use at home, delivering an extraordinary musical experience for everyday use. There are so many choices of light patterns and if you are having a night party it just look super cool. It’s easy to connect to Bluetooth. Over all i would give this 10/10. JBL has never disappointed with their product.

This thing is insane ???? ...amazing
This speaker is insane ???????? I own a different selection of JBL products and have really enjoyed the all so naturally the party box 520 had to be added ???? If you like to party do a bit of karaoke or just love your music then this thing is definitely one to consider ... First of all the sound quality is unbelievable I was literally scared of turning this thing up to max volume incase it blew my windows out ..the sound is crisp and the bass is impressive..we had this out on the garden with a few friends and the sound even outside was pumping at half volume I think you put this in a field and you'd hear it from the other side ????...once the light faded that's when the light display comes in and it looks really cool ...we then passed the mic around for a bit and had a sing along everyone was really impressed...overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves music and is looking for a speaker to entertain it won't disappoint

the jbl partybox 520is a solid mid-range party speaker . it got a amazing bass, also a light-show to suit whatever ur doing and this also has a decent battery . we used this for a garden party for my son and he loved it . will 100% recommend to friends and family .

My expectations for the JBL Party Box 520 were high, but reality exceeded them, and my first experience with this product took my breath away. Great Sound Quality
Obsessed with the JBL PartyBox right now, its big enough to fill the whole house or even the garden with music, plus super easy to roll around thanks to the builtin wheels. Took it to the park for a mini sports day with the kids and it was just a vibe. The lights had them mesmerised and honestly made it feel like a full on party. But the SOUND quality is everything! crystal clear, super loud just puts pulls you into the music. Am sold loving the JBL 520 10/10.

The JBL PartyBox 520 is a monster of a speaker. At 400 watts, it’s ridiculously loud, with deep bass and clear vocals that can handle anything from hip-hop to rock. The light show is a fun bonus and really makes it feel like a mini concert. It’s big and heavy but the wheels and handle help a lot, and the splash resistance is reassuring for outdoor use. Battery life is about 15 hours, with the option to swap if needed.

JBL Partybox 520 - serious upgrade from the 320
I’ve owned the JBL 320 for a while and always thought it sounded fantastic, but the 520 really takes things up a notch. It’s a lot bigger and heavier, so you don’t really want to carry it around too much, but the sound it puts out is worth it. The bass is punchy and powerful, the mids and highs are crisp and it easily fills a room or even a garden without any effort. Plugging it into the mains makes the sound even richer, though the battery still holds up really well. The build feels solid and well put together, with a proper rugged design and a sturdy handle that makes it easier to move despite the weight. I also like being able to link it up with my 320 through the JBL app - which also give access to the EQ settings and DJ shortcuts. It’s not a cheap speaker, but once you hear it in action, the price is easy to justify. Perfect for parties!

Objectively Awesome!
The excitement this speaker brings is infectious. I hadn't even taken delivery yet, and when this turned up at the door, the delivery driver was telling me how much fun I'm going to have and how amazing it's going to sound, just from seeing the box. You need ample space and a bit of muscle just to wrestle it out of the box, but once set up, it is a thing of beauty. I won't go through the individual inputs and technical specifications, as you can easily read the list. What I will say is that inputs and buttons feel excellent quality, and the small light inside the input panel is incredibly thoughtful. I've hooked up DJ controllers, microphones etc with no issues. I do feel like the sound effect buttons are wasted real estate and can even be frustrating if people keep pressing them at parties due to the easy access. They could stay hidden away inside the app and be replaced with more access to fine-tuning the lighting, or EQ selections. I would call myself an audiophile, but I don't go to extreme lengths to achieve perfection and prefer not to have to purchase separate amps and build a full setup. I really appreciate the portability of this speaker. Whilst I'd normally walk around with a set of Audeze headphones, I've found myself wheeling the 520 into different areas of my house and garden, and the kids usually follow and have a bit of a rave. The sound quality is exceptional, and becomes noticeably louder when powered by the mains. I've had no issues with battery life and feel it's likely it will easily surpass 12 hours at the volume levels I've been using. In very large rooms, the sound can get a bit 'lost'. If you try to counter this by increasing the volume to nearly maximum, you do lose some of the power of the bass. I'd suggest that this speaker is used in combination with other JBL partybox products, or even another 520 depending on your setup in large rooms. In the open air, you do have to position yourself in the right place to make the most of the bass and sound staging, but that's not a knock on the product as it's not a full PA system. It's definitely powerful enough for pool parties and the like. I've not found myself reaching for the EQ adjustment on the app, which is unusual for me. I've listened to a wide range of electronic music, rock, metal and epic/classical during my testing. The highs sound crisp and not overbearing, the mids are visible and beautiful, and the lows are powerful and moving. The only adjustment I've made between genres is the bass boost. Some genres feel fine at 0 (and I frequently used this if I didn't want to upset the neighbours), at 1 the bass is a deeper pounding and I thought this would be my go-to, however I often set it to 2 and enjoy the more powerful punchy feeling through my body. If I'm directly in front of the speaker and close my eyes, it does feel like I'm in front of a PA system at a festival. In fact, I prefer the sound stage of this speaker to this year's Creamfields. I would say it'd save money just to stay at home, but that brings me to my final topic: the price. I'm not completely certain where in the market this speaker sits at it's RRP. It's too expensive and cumbersome for something you'll want to have sitting around at home using sporadically, and the 710 is on sale for around the same price which I think better suits a more 'professional' setup for a DJ or party provider. The main benefit of the 520 over the 710 is the ability to be fully powered by battery. If money is no object, and you have the space to own one or multiple of these speakers, then I think you'd struggle to find the same sound performance, and it's definitely impossible to find the same portability. I believe that the 320 is even overkill for most homes, which makes the 520 a delightfully stupid purchase that I personally wouldn't regret as long as I could afford it!
