Amazing speaker!
I got the boombox 3 just over a week ago and all I can say is WOW! This speaker is amazing for its size, it is alittle bit and heavy but nobody should be complaining considering the sound it puts out. Its literally a portable concert! I own the Boombox 2 also which is still a great speaker. But in my opinion the 3 is better. The bass is very deep and the mids and highs a crystal clear. It gets very loud with no distortion. I also own a partybox 200 and the boombox 3 sounds better with more bass. If you decide to purchase a boombox 3 you will not be disappointed! Remeber, you only live once. Just go for it!

Won’t stay on
Bought one yesterday brand new, it won’t stay on, it keeps shutting itself down unless it’s plugged into mains power even though the battery is charged. Extremely disappointing for such an expensive product, I’m taking it back to the retailer tomorrow and asking for a refund

Buy it NOW!!
Finally upgraded the sound system in my rock crawler. I could barely hear my JBL Xtreme over the cammed LS, but the Boombox is definitely where it’s at. 3X the volume with legit base. Wish I had bought one of these to begin with.

Best Sound
I bought this a month ago.I'm so happy. It's the sound quality is awesome and base rocks. Sounds like we have a live band in our backyard now.

Overwhelming thump
I really wanted to love this or even like it. If you like thumping bass, the Boombox 3 will do that. But the bass completely overwhelms the mids and highs. And what I do hear of those mids and highs doesn't sound that great. Where are those guitar solos and soaring vocals I know so well from my playlist? Buried back there under a layer of booming bass. Adjusting the EQ from the app just seems to make the mids/highs sound worse when you lower the bass. Playing mp3s with the aux cord off my laptop does sound better than streaming from a Bluetooth connection, so I'm keeping it for the party punch portability, but I grimace every time when I barely hear something I know should be on top.

Great sound. A little heavy to be a true portable
It's a great sound system fills the whole room. We use it for a dance class and some social events. It's heavy and not somthing you want to carry far 6.7kg The only issue is the app it would be nice to be able to turn the levels up and down a bit more as in small rooms the base is to much. Also the app keeps opening over the top of other apps even when it's already connected and keeps trying to connect but that's an app issue

Fantastic, but something's not right.
I got this speaker for Christmas last year (2023) and this thing has been AMAZING. - Great build quality - SUPERB sound - Great battery life (as long as you're responsible with EQs and volume) But there are a few gripes I have with this speaker. And this is not just with the bb3. I've seen this happen on my XTREME 2 I used to have, the boombox 2, and some other speakers that have the same driver setup (driver(s) out the front, dual radiators on the side). ### My Main Issue ### The radiators flex aggressively when playing at high volumes and in warmer temperatures. It's probably hard to solve this without creating a hole inside for air pressure which not only makes it non IP67 water/dust resistant, but also would make frequency response poorer with the radiators. But the air inside of the speaker is trapped due to the sealed design, and when the drivers and battery are hard at work, it heats up, i.e. expands. This pushes the radiators out, as if they're about to explode. Then following the slow expansion of air inside, the radiators shake violently, distorting bass and rocking the speaker back and forth. I'd imagine it's not good for the rubber holding everything together and the subwoofer in the center being gyrated in and out at velocities that it's not in control of. Right now the thing is sitting on my bedroom floor. After playing music with lots of bass (smooth sine waves, constantly, 45-55-65 hz), they look inset now! And when lightly pushing on them they barely move. So these radiators are being forcibly held and pushed out, and in. I really hope the engineers saw this and knew that it would be like this. If anyone working for JBL sees this, I don't need a replacement, but I'd like the peace of mind that this is somewhat normal. No there's no air escape hole but you get the point). I've also included a picture of my inset radiators, just look at those and tell me they don't look stuck in.

awesomeness
Speaker is one of the best purchases I’ve made. Sounds awesome and even better when plugged in to outlet for more power. Not to heavy but beefy and rugged. It definitely stands out
