Complicated and Mediocre
I was honestly disappointed in this product. At first, everything seemed good, the package came with absolutely everything you need, which is amazing. However, the instructions weren’t very clear on how to open the camera and that became quite complicated. The app set up was pretty easy and quick to do. Once the camera was up and running I noticed that the image would go from color to black and white very randomly. The motion detection kind of sucks because it doesn’t start recording until halfway through any motion and misses a lot of things. I also hated that you couldn’t watch the live feed for more than a couple minutes because it would kick you out. Sometimes the videos recorded didn’t even have any motion at all which just made it a way of taking up the limited space. I only had it running for about two weeks before the battery started dying and the camera stopped running. When I tried troubleshooting to try and turn my camera back on, it wasn’t working. Honestly, this camera does come with great features like audio and mic, however it doesn’t work that well and is more complicated than it should be.

Clear picture!
I like how this syncs with my Alexa device. It was easy to install and the picture comes out clear. Sometimes my Ring pictures come out blurry. So far no issues and havent had to replace the batteries.

Very nice
Very great camera with amazing quality! Easy to install and battery life is very long! Works great, haven’t had any issues! I really love this camera and the program for it!
Outdoor camera
Pretty decent outdoor camera. Has nice features and is easy to install. Like that it’s weather resistant and connects to other blink devices. Not a huge fan of the subscription model but it works for what it’s worth nonetheless
Great outdoor camera!
The new Blink 4 outdoor camera is a big step from the original Blink camera. I love the wide view and how clear the quality is. The motion detection works well and quickly picked up my husband pulling into our driveway. I also like the feature that allows me to set up zones. There is a tree slightly in the view that I cannot get out of view. I set up a zone where people park in our driveway so it knows that is more important. The setup of the camera was fast and easy, the directions easy to follow. Overall, I am pleased with this Blink camera and plan to buy a few more to put around my house.
Works great with existing older Blink models!
We have the outdoor Blink 3 cameras around our property and they work great and are relatively affordable. I tried to buy an extra Blink 3 camera for the side of our yard and couldn’t find one anywhere. I took a chance getting one of the newer Blink 4 cameras and I’m glad I did; it’s compatible with the older cameras, no problem at all. I was able to add the new camera in the app and switch all the cameras to the new Sync Module— it was very, very easy. The Blink 4 comes with a screw in mount and has the option to buy an extended battery component. I don’t remember the older cameras having this feature, but I’m going to seriously consider it for the new camera because battery life for the Blink 3s isn’t great. It’s just annoying to have to go out and take them down every few months. I also found the Blink 4 to have a crisper screen and I liked the new smart detection features. Like the older models, you can adjust the sensitivity of the camera and customize privacy zones within the camera’s view. Eventually, we may look into switching all of our cameras to the newer models because of the obvious upgrades to several of the features. If you’re looking for an easy to use, affordable security option, these new Blink cameras are definitely worth a try.
Great for what it is
Okay blink is great at making these products this camera does everything at a cheap price. The only downside in my opinion is the subscription required for enhanced features.
