Simple to use, great features and no monthly fees!
I’m really starting to fall in love with the Eufy brand of products. They’re high quality products that keep releasing updates and new features to every product new and old. This doorbell camera is no exception from getting and update as soon as I connected it to my Eufy App. The camera was super simple to install and it comes with so many different mounting options available, from an Angle mount to a simple flat flush mount. It makes it easy to install either on the door frame of a door to mounting it on a door with either screws or two faced tape. My only complaint about this particular model, is the charging method. I love that it uses a simple USB-C cable, however there isn’t a detachable battery so you have to take the doorbell off the mount (a simple snap) and take it inside the house to charge up. The door is great, the camera has great video quality and it’s so very simple to use the App and connect it to your home WiFi. This kit even came with a microSD card where it stores the doorbell videos!

Amazed by the quality
I was definitely not expecting such an amazing camera! I posted 2 different night views i picked up of my son. One with porch light and 1 without. Both are clear as day (at least in the videos while watching lol). It alerts me immediately to activity. Super easy to set up and I love the part included to angle to camera. Comparing it to my other system, this one surpasses it in every way! The view is about as good as the hard wired one i have at another location. I plan to update all of my cameras to this system now!

Almost perfect
The installation and user friendly interface of the app makes this a great doorbell. The video quality and streaming looks great and picks up on all motion. It has local storage so there's no fee for seeing who is at the door with minimal recording. This would be perfect if it worked with Google.

Eufy c30 is a nice entry level camera doorbell
The Eufy C30 is a nice entry level camera doorbell. The Eufy app was a breeze to install on my iPhone, there’s a code on the back of the doorbell that you scan, the app creates another scannable code that is then in turn - scanned by the phone / app to “pair” the app to the doorbell. the chat feature in the app to the unit is nice, but you have to have your phone on (so the security on our phones kind of delays answering). The package comes with a 2 screw / anchor mounting template, which was easy to install on our home. The 2k allows for good video quality (a bit of a fish eye lens effect on the outer aspects of the video frame) relative to the (included) 32gb SIM card (look carefully inside the packaging, there’s a little integrated box with a small “door” which houses the USB c, sd card, etc - which is easy to miss and toss). The internal battery is charged via usb C, and once the unit is mounted inside the plastic frame - there’s a little hole on the top of the unit that you need to access / insert the release tool into this hole and push down - to loosen the mounting frame from the video cam. We charged the unit prior to mounting. We placed our c30 to the left of our front door. We have an extended roofline / front porch - which helps to protect the apparently weather resistant c30 (lifespan remains to be seen / proven if it will be okay in the hot southern California sun). We own (purchased) other Anker appliances which have provided us with good value, so we don’t expect anything too different with this Eufy C30. Potential Cons: - doesn’t pair to our existing chime. The chime is on the c30 (outside) and is a bit noisy for our neighbors, but thankfully, the sound doesn’t set our dog off. - You need to buy the Eufy home base unit for the c30 to register the home owners faces / reduce video capture (affects battery life). - Not sure about longevity of this unit - relative to drilling holes to mount it in our front entry. - Eufy (Anker) has a cloud service which is $ monthly (not a great deal of money, but we already have ADT). Based on the ease of removal of this unit - I’m not sure that the camera would be a security deterrent for motivated thieves. Still, the ability to talk to the person outside the door without having to open the door - is nice / more convenient than shouting through the glass.

Great picture & video quality
I have been looking into different video doorbells and comparing different pricing and features. I am extremely satisfied with the Eufy Video Doorbell C30. The installation was extremely easy. After charging, you pretty much just down load the app and it walks you through set up. The kit even comes with an SD card for the device and has a sticker that shows you exactly where the screws need to be placed when mounting it. The picture is very clear and works with my Alexa devices. So far, the charging is m great as it comes with a charger and doesn’t take batteries! If you are looking at video door bells that have great picture, sound and not extremely expensive, this is the one!
