Super easy to set up, good quality prints, nice compact.
Had this printer for 2 weeks now, was easy to set up and connect to network. Nice little printer, super good quality, prints fast enough for my needs. It so simple, which I really like, just works as it should.

Great Until Firmware Update
All fine and dandy until you do a firmware update and Epson blocks you from using more economical ink cartridges. Wouldn't be a big deal if Epson's ink cartridges were actually better, but they are not and they eat through ink even on low settings. Spend the money on better laserjet printer that doesn't eat ink and require you to always use their brand.

Over all good; must have printer
I bought this printer about a year ago. It was sparingly used but when used there were no issues in it. Print quality connectivity speed functionality and compatibility are all good. No drying of ink or clogged head. Well I did keep one thing in mind always kept in the plastic sheet that came along which kept the nozzles from drying. Duplex printing saves in paper.

Broken before even turning on.
Took out of box and it had an immediate error. Document feeder was jammed with no paper in it. What a joke!

Pass on this...
Third unit I have purchased. Runs for about 6 months with a light load of work, maybe 50 sheets a month. Suddenly, won't connect even after updating all drivers, etc. Always at the worst time too. Now I have to buy another printer.

DO NOT BUY
Piece of junk- I have a direct wired connection to my computer-its constantly spooling, It is always in a paper jam and the paper drawer doesn't close correctly, also dont update the software because if you do they put a restriction on it and you can only use Epson ink ( I think HP was sued for doing this). Out of the box this printer has had paper jam and paper drawer problems and I still fight with it DAILY.

Terrible product
I have had WF-3820 for two months and it has been nothing but trouble since. Cannot connect to Wi-Fi issues. I've done everything humanly possible to correct this, but it keeps toggling from working one day to not rhe next and no... it's not the wifi. I had a previous epson printer scanner of an older model, last ten years. Idk what happened to Epson, but I'm not impressed.

This printer was good until the firmware update locked us out of it and we are no longer able to use 3rd party ink cartiridges. Nice work Epson.
