Don't Waste Your Money. This printer/scanner is TERRIBLE!
This printer/scanner is a waste of money! I bought this mainly for the scanning features less than a year ago. I scan papers for work weekly. I put fewer than the recommended number of papers in the feeder. The feeder jams 75% of the time on the first paper. When the feeder doesn't jam, it will randomly scan the first few papers and then stop, thinking that the scanning is done even though there are more papers in the feeder. When it does scan the stack, it will randomly rotate the scanned image, even though all of the papers are in the feeder the same way. Therefore, when I look at the scans, the first 2 are the same way, the third is rotated, the next 3 match the direction of the first 2, then the next one is rotated. Etc. If I had the money I would have replaced this product yesterday. This product is a giant waste of money!

NOT WORTH THE MONEY-HORRIBLE SUPPORT
I bought this ET-5150 printer 5 months ago and have been going around and around with Epson with the ADF-Auto Document Feed. It keeps jamming. Also, when I bought it, it was listed as with fax. Come to find out, I paid $50 more than the ET-5170 and it HAS a FAX.
Great Idea-But don't do it
I loved the idea of replacing my HP with unlimited ink. Now I don't mind half baked ideas... as long as they are still in the oven. I was so excited about two years free ink until I printed with it. It is a cute little printer. Light weight and not as solid as my other ink jets. The problem is that red prints as pink and all the colors are washed out like water colors. I have completed the installation, my printer is set to high quality, and color and have checked all the boxes. I even bought the Epson paper to make sure I would have the best quality. I am printing on a Mac so this could be the problem. I am returning it diassapointed.

Absolutely love the eco tank printers! Our last one saved us so much money by not having to purchase expensive cartridges that we decided to upgrade this go round but definitely stick with eco tank! I would never buy any other printer.
Excellent quality colorful prints
This is a review for the Epson EcoTank Pro ET-5150 Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review When I received this printer I was really glad. I like the color quality prints this machine provides my business. The printing rate is phenomenal. I was able to print all of my employees timesheets in record time. I like all the different features this machine offers. The digital input screen is really easy to use. The buttons/instructions are prominently displayed making it easy for beginners to even use this machine. This machine was easy to set up although it’s quite large it actually fits well on my printer desk. The ink cartridges were easy to put in the machine and virtually mess free. Overall this all in one printer is a great buy well worth the price. I couldn’t be happier with this machine.
Epson ET5150 Printer for business or home
This is my review for the Epson Eco Tank Pro 5150. The printer came well packaged and was easy to take out of box. The blue tape made it simple to find where and what I needed to remove prior to usage. The set up was easy and to my surprise included a push button display. Filling the ink was simple and did not leave any mess. The touch screen instructions are helpful and allowed me to set up my wireless connection. The Epson printer also includes website help to download drivers or a provided CD. The Epson 5150 provide fast printing that I use for graphics and reports. The color is vivid and the printing fast. I was able to use this printer to scan directly to my email which allows me a copy of all correspondence and the ability to forward to whoever I desire. Two sided printing without taking the paper out allows for less waste and easy of use. Copies were crisp and maintained correct color. Eco- friendly and easy to use
This printer, the Epson Eco-Tank Pro ET-5150, is a totally fascinating and ingenious new product. I am not a technical person and I normally do not attempt to setup computers, laptops, phones, fitbits etc. I am sure by now you get the picture of my abilities in the tech world. But I really must tell you that from start to finish, my husband and I set this printer up, and filled the in tanks in about 25 minutes. The print instructions that came with the printer are clear and concise. Step by step detailed directions that are pretty much self explanatory! Once we set up the printer, filled the ink and downloaded the info the home computer, I then attempted to get the app, download it and then connect my phone to the printer. When I say I was literally getting anxious about it and hoping I would not make a mistake. Again, Epson did a fantastic job outlining what had to be done that I did not have a single issue connecting and setting up my phone and the printer to connect. There is a lot of ink in each cartridge. The ink bottles are designed to snap into place when placed in the printer. No mess, no overspill. The photos that it prints are very vivid, vibrant, and the colors do not bleed. The printer is an all in one scanner, printer and fax machine. It is self cleaning, efficient and eco friendly. The Epson Connects app not only allows you to print documents from your laptop and or your phone, this printer allows you to print from the iCloud. An Absolute Gem!
Wow! What can I say? I have essentially transitioned from a Ford Model T to a Tesla. This Epson EcoTank was super easy to set up in that I only needed to look at the manual for knowing how to fill the ink tanks, since it was a new concept to me. I must say I was a bit nervous, especially after having seen the obligatory “Be careful with handling as it will stain” message, but it was very simple with a twist of the cap and matching the shape of the bottle to line up with the same shape within the ink compartment. As for my previous printer, it had decent print quality with respect to black + colors, but it really never reached the threshold of being this amazing machine with vibrant colors. The Epson EcoTank does just that. Printing multiple pages on the Epson is much quicker than my previous printer as well. The automatic two-sided printing is a positive as well, especially since my previous printer forced you to flip the paper over as a more manual input. Another advantage I have experienced a bit over the time I have been able to use this has been the cost over time. I do print quite a bit, so I had a subscription ink cartridge model with my previous printer. However, this Epson will end up saving me quite a bit of money over the long haul, particularly if there is any sort of lull in my printing periods. In all, this EcoTank has a bigger tank and is more efficient and eco-friendly than any other printer I have had in the past. I would truly recommend this product to anyone and everyone. It works for business people who print more frequently as well as those who print at home who do not print as frequently. Awesome Printer!!
The Epson EcoTank Pro ET-5150 Wireless Printer meets all my printing needs to a T!. Setting up this printer was a breeze. The instructions are easy to follow. It took about 30 minutes to get the ink tanks filled and the software installed on my laptop. I had no issues with filling the ink tanks. I was able to fill the ink tanks up fast with no spillage. It also come with an extra black ink refill bottle. The printer is not bulky, very lightweight but sturdy. The touchscreen is very easy to read and navigate through. I love that it’s an all in one printer. Having to ability to scan, copy and print when needed is great. The print jobs are fast. The print quality is amazing. There are no ink bleeds or smears on the paper. I love that I have the ability to print straight from my cell phone. My husband and I are android users and our children have apple phones. My husband is in awe that he can print an email straight from his phone..lol With the kids still having to do distant learning at home, they have the ability to print with ease from their phones and chrome books. Another added bonus is using Epson Connect which allows you to send documents via the cloud or to the printer assigned email wherever you are to the printer. What I really like most about the printer is not having to purchase any ink anytime soon. The kids are constantly printing things in color and I have to print work documents from home, I had to replace the ink cartridges in my old HP printer on a monthly basis. With this printer, I have a good two years before I had to worry about that. Also the cost of the ink refills is very reasonable.
