I’m not a gamer, yet a work from home kinda gal who loves to spruce up everyday items. Came across this online and needed to get it for work. Been using this for nearly a month now and quite liking the bounce to the keys. Dare I say it is helping me type faster (maybe because I’m enjoying using this with all the fun colors). Colors are bright and fun, they are not distracting or hurts your eyes after a while. It’s a perfect hue for anyone’s lifestyle. Throw away your old keyboard and get this beautifully one instead!!

Awesome keyboard
This is an awesome keyboard. The size is perfect for me. It's a ten keyless design so it really helps with my gaming without those keys in the way. The keys are smooth, durable, and very fast. It seems like there is no delay when the key are pressed which is awesome when you want to be fast. This is because of the 2 different modes. Ultralight pressing is great for gaming and the deeper presses of the keys helps me when I'm doing normal computer work. The keyboard also lights up which is neat.

Perfect Gaming Keyboard
When our last keyboard quit working I knew finding a suitible replacement for my avid gamer family wasn't going to be easy. As all of us game but on different games. My husbands go to game is World Of Tanks & World Of Warcraft though not as much Warcraft since their most recent expansions. Anyway my daughter and son play on Ark and while I do tend to find myself writing more than gaming I also play online games using the desktop. That said I knew I wanted to elimimate having to charge the next keyboard because to be honest charging a wireless keyboard constantly became more of a pain than being wired. Then came the time to look at other features such as lighting even though that isnt nearly as important as other factors such as optipoint switches and doubleshot pbt keys both of which the Apex 9 tkl have. The optipoint switches are engineered for speed so theres zero debounce and they provide virtually instant response time. The doubleshot pbt gives you tournment ready keycaps that are designed for competition. Resistent to wearing down and durable so they will stand up to the regular and heavy use. The keyboard also has 2 point adjustable actuation so you can adjust the height at which your keystrokes activate. You can play in two modes ultralight for quick action gaming and deeper presses for everyday typing. Speaking of which the keyboard makes the most satisfying sound when in use but isnt overly loud or obnoxious like some overly pronounced mechanical keyboards. It comes with a key remover so you can easily remove or replace keys if desired. The lighting features are honestly a wonderful fun feature theres different settings but our favorite is the wave / breath setting where it looks like a wave of changing colored lights across the keys. This is customizeable via a button on the keyboard. Theres also a scroll wheel in the upper right hand side that controls your computers volume. Theres also a high and low ergonomic setting for how high you set it. Overall id say my mission while not easy was accomplished and we are a happy family of gamers and so thankful the our Apex 9 TKL to of joined our gaming family.

Tremendous quality for PC gamers!
The APEX 9 TKL is an optical gaming keyboard in the Steel Series. The big feature of this keyboard (next to the hotswappable switches) is the optical speed. This makes gaming faster and more accurate, which is important when your team is counting on you to deliver. The switches are not typical - they are hot-swappable and the keycap puller used for this is housed inside of the keyboard itself. That's handy (even though I think the design of the actual tool is lacking). Absolutely a fan of this board because I prefer the subtle sound that comes with these switches. It is a compact design. This is a pro. The audio control is located at the top right of the keyboard and it is very simple to use and works well. The brightness of the keyboard's LEDs can be easily adjusted and I love that it can be super bright or toned down at the touch of a key. The LEDs seem to respond to the sounds emanating from game play. About the physicality of the board: the adjustable feet includes two options so it can be low profile, or my preference, sitting up higher at about half inch. The keys themselves have a nice texture - almost grippy and they seem to resist shininess/absorbing natural oils from fingertips. The board is part of the steel series and it feels substantial and sturdy. Really happy with it overall!

I hooked up this keyboard to my work computer and I am loving it. I work tens and usevit daily. I am a soft typer and like that the keys can be personalized to me and my sensitivity level. Everything about this keyboard is about customization. Its comfortable to use and takes very little space. Perfect for gaming or work

Great Gaming keyboard
The apex 9 TKL is a absolutely amazing keyboard. It is compact and lightweight which makes gaming easier and more convenient. It has great response for a better gaming experience. The cable is removable which makes moving it convenient and easy for traveling without the cable getting destroyed. The light up feature is so cool and I love all the fun colors. It's makes night gaming a ton of fun! It does not have a 10 key which at first was a bummer but for the convenience i love it without. This is a great buy!

Awesome keyboard!!
I’ve had this keyboard for a few weeks now. I’m a serious gamer, so I’ve had the chance to test it out pretty thoroughly. The keyboard is very good in most regards. Its keys have a very nice tactile feel to them when you type with them, and the adjustable RGB allows for excellent customization and personalization options. The small form factor makes it very portable, useful for bringing to work or school. The keys have a distinct sound to them, which is very satisfying to the ears if you are a fan of mechanical keyboards. The sound is louder than most factory standard keyboards but no so loud as to be bothersome. One of the few problems I have with the keyboard is that the keys are very sensitive, and don't require much pressure at all to register an input. This makes accidentally hitting two keys at once very easy, especially if one has bigger fingers. Overall, this is a very nice keyboard, and one that I will probably keep to use as my daily driver. I’d recommend it to others and would purchase again.

This SteelSeries keyboard is the perfect addition to my Husband's gaming set up. He plays a lot of computer games and this keyboard has helped him improve his gaming so much. Definitely a great product from a great company, I would definitely recommend it.

Best Gaming Keyboard I’ve ever had
SteelSeries- Apex 9 TKL is a great gaming keyboard. It’s really good that the keys are really quiet when you press them. There isn’t any sound. The keys are really responsive which is good for my gaming. When I play games it’s faster than the other keyboards that I have used in the past. Also I like the media player button and the volume wheel on this. I use it a lot. It’s nice because it’s just one button but you can use it to pause music and then play it again and it doesn’t take up much space on the keyboard. Also this keyboard looks really cool. It’s definitely the best keyboard I’ve ever had. I would recommend this keyboard to others.

Great keyboard
This Apex 9 TKL keyboard is so great. The keys have a good feel and comfort along with the lighting on the keyboard is very cool. The Apex 9 TKL keyboard has a sleek look compared to a standard keyboard, but has a good weight that it will stay and not move around. I would highly recommend Apex 9 TKL keyboard.
