In terms of connectivity, it’s super convenient with HDMI and DisplayPort options that make switching between my laptop and PC effortless. Great quality but nothing special
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The LG 34" UltraWide Curved Monitor has great display quality which you can easily change to work best with your computer's settings. The curve of the monitor is at a great angle without loss of color or brightness. There are a lot of options for connectivity unfortunately none were compatible with my laptop that requires USB-C. Overall a great purchase and very happy with it!
Best for analyst
Before this 34 curve monitor, I used 27 QHD monitor. I immediately love this 34 curve, as an analyst, I have to review loads of data across different platforms, this gives me plenty of spaces to compare. Also, I can adjust the bright, it’s good for my eyes for long term
Great for working with two pc's
Probably not the correct way but, I chose this monitor on the back of my LG television which gives the best picture quality and colour balance I’ve seen to date. I don’t do gaming, which is what I assume this ultra widescreen monitor is about, but I do work with exceptionally large spreadsheets and cad work. I also needed a monitor which could enable me to view both my desktop pc’s, one windows and one linux for the spreadsheets, enabling me to declutter my desk of two monitors, which this new monitor does admirably. The LG 34WR50QK monitor ticks all the boxes for me. It looks good, is very stable, the colours are superb and its pin sharp. I do like the little joystick control for the settings, not that I’ve had to do much tinkering as everything seems set right for me straight out of the box. I was surprised at how tiny the stand looks on my desk, but it holds the screen rock steady.
Great monitor for great price
I bought this monitor a week ago to replace a two monitor setup from aging Thunderbolt displays. This was a pretty great deal for what you get. My use case was to use two inputs and swap between them easily for home and work computers. Overall I like the monitor as it has good quality pitcture that I have dialed in with custom color configuration. I like the pbp functionality so if I wanted work and home on the same screen I can so that is nice but pbp is more buried in the settings than I would like. I mounted it on an arm so I can move it around my desk. The one gripe I have is that the auto input switch function doesn't seem to work with display port. I want to be able to plug in work computer to auto switch it over from home and then simply unplug to return to home. If I use the 2 HDMI ports then auto switch seems to work but doesn't with display port. Just something to be aware of and wish it could be fixed.
No usb port in the back
I bought this yesterday, it is supposed to have USB-C port on the back. It is written on the box but no usb port on the monitor.
Great quality and Price
Excellent monitor. Reasonable price, great picture quality. Mainly used for WfH , Great advantage is enough space to split screen. I like to recommend it to friends.
Extremely happy with my purchase
Loving it!! Absolutely much better than having my previous 2 monitors.. equivalent to 2.5 - 3 monitors for me. Great quality!
