Great solution for us long nailed ppl
I have had long nails forever, and while typing has always been a challenge, I accepted it as the tradeoff to keep long nails, until now! I was very surprised by this product. At first, I wasn’t sure how it would make a difference, but once I used it, the improvement was clear, fits perfectly over my MacBook air keyboard without slipping or lifting, an issue I’ve had with other covers. While it takes some time to adjust to the slightly raised keys and smaller surface area, the design on the whole makes it easier to type with the tips of your fingers, helping prevent nails from getting in the way. My nails aren’t extremely long at the moment, but I can see this being especially helpful for those with very long nails. The tactile feedback is satisfying, and I love that it comes with a case, making it easy to carry and more likely that I’ll keep using it. Hot Pink Long Nail Typing Assist
This is such a great tool for someone that has super long nails and has to type all day. Stop risking your beautiful nails and those side cracking and also hang nails. The pink color is also very cute and it really adds to the fun personality that your nails bring to the party . Definitely helps make it easier to type!
This tippy type keyboard is one of those products that you never knew you needed. I’ve recently gotten my nails done longer than my natural nails ever got and did struggle somewhat typing on a laptop. Then I came across the tippy type keyboard. It fit over my personal laptop just right. The first couple tries to type sentences did take slight getting used to since I type fairly fast but once I got the hang of it, it worked out great and made typing much smoother with longer nails. The only part that I have trouble with are the up, down, left, right arrows. They don’t seem to press seamlessly and need to press more cautiously in slower distinct motions. Other than that this product is a gem. It even comes with a nice case to store it when not in use. I do find the price point slightly on the higher end though, but in the long run, I think it would be worth it if you consistently had your nails done long. Excellent addition to my MacBook Pro
Tippy type fits perfectly over my MacBook Pro keyboard. It’s missing the keys for the top row (with the exception of ESC). I like the feel of it, it takes a bit of getting used to, but I can see how it would come in very handy for those with long nails. Fantastic Typing Hack for Long Nails!
This is an interesting find. This keyboard cover not only keep your laptop keys, clean, but makes it really easy to type for those of us who like to keep our nails long. I took a break from gel nails, and even my natural nails were struggling and this really helped me place my fingers in the right place I’m excited about getting my nails done again, which are generally about an inch or so long. Saving grace for long nails!
I am using this on a MacBook, it is a bit older model, so I wasn’t sure if it would fit, but it fits perfectly! I struggle a lot to type with regular keyboards due to my nails. It is a silicone layer that you just put on the existing keyboard. I feel like it provides a lot of control when typing so I can be precise. Tippy Type Is Super Helpful!
It fits the computer well, but as someone who types fast, it was coming off the edges a bit. I usually get long acrylics, so having the keys elevated like that will definetly be super helpful. I love the style, and the packaging is very cute. It’s a nice silicone texture that doesn’t really get oily, especially because my hands sweat quite a bit. It stayed dry which I really appreciate. Keyboard cover designed for manicured nails
I have medium-length nails and get manicures regularly, so typing on my MacBook without damaging them was a constant struggle. That is, until I tried the Tippy Type. The raised keys feel velvety soft, cushion my fingertips, and protect my nails (no more loud clinking on nails to the keyboard). It does require removing to close my laptop, which is a minor hassle.
